I bleach ?tie dye clothes as well. Bleach does have very strong fumes, and it's a good idea to do it outside or in an outbuilding or garage, away from the house. I use ordinary bleach, but to get stuff really light, use pool shock, but the fumes are even worse. The last thing I did was a black hoodie that was tied and bleached, then washed, then dyed royal blue. I always wanted a black and blue hoodie, and this was the way to get one unique to me. And when using bleach or any chlorine, use gloves, and wear safety glasses or goggles. You don't want to get any on your skin or in your eyes. (Jan Griffiths).

Tell me about it, I'm local to about 8 charity shops (they're all within a 10 minute walk from my house) and not being able to get anything from any of them has been torture. They can't open soon enough honestly
