While Shawn Pilot is generally known around the world as one of the legendary four members of the cast of “Car Masters: Rust to Riches,” he actually has an acting past with which not many fans are cognizant. He rose to prominence in the mainstream around September 2018, when the first season of “Car Masters: Rust to Riches” was launched.

This video should have been titled "The history of the Bat Mobile Lawsuit, The Making of Three Kings and the History of West Coast Customs". it has about 30sec of any kind of resemblance of a story about Shawn!!!

First off Shawn isn't a mechanic, nor pretends to be...... He's a paint and body guy who also has a knack for finding good deals..... Tell us you never watched the show or paid any attention at all, to Shawn without telling us you never watched the show or paid attention to the Shawn, he literally says "I'm not a mechanic, I'm a paint and body guy" atleast 3 times every episode........

@@bcineht Nah, he's a paint and body guy who tinkers with engines. He's not about to yank that engine out and put it on a Motor stand tear it down and rebuild it...... He'll yank it out and send it to Constance and have her rebuild it...... Your confusing a guy who knows just enough to get an engine running for a mechanic. He himself says he's not a mechanic.

4:30 I could really care less if Constance is a "mechanic plant" on the show. Without her on the show with those wonderfully form fitting shirts showing us all she has to offer .... well let's just say it's a little less interesting to watch! I say we need more mechanic plants just like her on more TV shows!

He got screwed in the lawsuit because of course the judge would rule for big Hollywood over a guy with a little car rebuilding show. A car is not a character in the normal meaning of words.

As if Warner Bros doesn't have enough money or clout. It's pretty beat they went after a small business owner who paid homage to an icon and sued him over it. That's pretty grimy. I'm only 4:14 into it so hopefully it didn't go that badly for him. Thanks for making this video, I personally do not support Netflix, however I did find Shawn's corvette channel on here and KZfaq suggested this video to me, so I'm going to give you the sweet watch time you deserve.

Well he didnt do his homework. I dont like it either but theyve successfully shut down many who duplicate those cars and sell them for profit. I think individuals could build them for their own use and thats legal.

I love the show but Mark went WAY beyond "paying homeage" to the Batmobile...... It's not like he just threw some SS badges and rally stripes on a 6 cylinder 69 Camaro or put some "Boss 302" decals on a plain jane Mustang and called it a "Tribute" or "Clone"...... there was a list of 147 details on the Batmobile that he directly copied without permission and then marketed it as a Batmobile replica and set-up his entire website and business to market and sell them for profit, he should have known he was wrong, and he only had to pay them 20k, he built more than a dozen cars at 90k a pop, it's didn't hurt him at all.

When I saw them setting up in Berlin I laughed my ass off, in Germany they have the Tuev or TüV, no way were they going to get away with what they were doing over here in Germany. You have a very hard job to even get wide wheel arches through their checks. The Germans love their cars so much that they don´t like anybody to mess with them! And that is why you don´t get that crap in Germany. Great series if you live in the USA though.

That Gotham Garage "1940 Ford Woodie" (which looked like it was cobbled together with parts from J.C. Whitney and Tractor Supply) was a travesty and insult to every one of us baby boomer gearheads. Nice to see that Shawn has moved on. Subscribed and looking forward to that red Vette.

This video literally had zero to do with Shawn as an actor. It's just an overview documentary about Rust to Riches and West Coast Customs - mostly focusing on others from the shows. Shawn gets about 2 minutes at the end of the video and it's not even about his 'acting' career. I'll never watch this channel again because it pulled a 'gotcha' with a fake title. Do Better.
