If you continue improving like this, not only will you become a grandmaster, you'll become one of the players others will fear on their chess journey. Your chess has evolved, and it iwll continue to evolve if you let it. Do not be discouraged by a few mistakes here and there. If you keep up this trajectory, GM is not even your end destination anymore. Keep it up, I'll keep watching :)

I feel like this is the best you could hope for in a first tournament return. You're controlling your nerves, you're keeping a positive mindset, and you gained a ton of rating points. It seems like you even know what your next barrier is-- that being endurance through the entire event, which is hard to practice outside of simply competing more. The norm was within reach, but you weren't expecting it right away anyway, so it shouldn't matter too much. I feel proud, and I look forward to your next tournament!
