at 7 minutes in the video you could have moved Queen to B6 Forking the King and rook and taken his rook.

@@etc1702 Actually you are right. Maybe if the pawn goes forward it leads to a forced checkmate but I couldn't follow the line in my head for a forced mate. Now I'm with you on how the queen is hanging. Or maybe Levy just didn't think it all the way through with pawn pushes?

@@chicassoproductions8527 right after saying that his opponent had hung the queen, he acknowledges the pawn move by saying "no wait, what? Qh4, g5" (9:01). so yeah the queen isn't hanging, but Qh4 is still a winning move (as indicated by the eval bar) because pushing the pawn allows another check on h6 and then the king can either move to e7 or to f5, which both allow him to win the bishop after another check on e6

I think you meant b6. If that then the rook could come and shield the king at c7.

@@MaxPower417you could go to b8 since the bishop's vision is obstructed by the rook at b7. Then the king would probably have to go to e7 and maybe levy didn't like this line since he is not gaining any material. Maybe that's why he rather chose to take a pawn at a6. I can't understand it deeper than this.

...Are you serious? Both the king and the bishop can take the queen in that square.

@@samiraperi467 I think he meant that the Queen could give a check on A8 and that the black Rook had to defend on C8 and be captured with the Queen or the Bishop. The problem is the King just could go to F7. He did not mean capturing the Rook on C7.
