Draconian is an amazing band, i have just now discovered them and i am blown away by the atmospheric intensity of their music, i have found what i have been looking for without even knowing i'd been missing it in the first place. i can't get over how amazing they are. 'nuff said

No Type O Negative, My Dying Bride, Tiamat, Paradise Lost, Katatonia, not even Theatre of Tragedy (the band that influenced half of the stuff in this video). The shit in this video is good, but half of it I wouldn't even call gothic doom.

@birinbirinbirin its called Goth Metal ofcourse its nothing like clan of xymox because its basically Darkwave type lyrics mixed with aggressive metal music but that doesn't make it not-Gothic, its just a new innovation in music though I have to agree some bands up there are not perfect examples of gothic metal I meant the ones with folk music

those who sound like real doom gothic are Draconian - ☺ the BEST for me -, Estatic Fear, Empyrium and Lacrimas Profundere. The other ones are symphonic gothic metal with various influences

Very good bands all of them. Especially Draconian. But just... HOW could you leave Trail of Tears out?? They deserve to be in that list probably more than any of the other 9 bands! Except Draconian. I would put those two in the first place. Then any of the others. And last Lacrimas Profundere.
