Gotthard made the lyrics come alive. Deep Purple are gods in everybodys book, but Gotthard made one of their songs into a sexy, danceable stomper. One of the best Cover version ever. RIP Steve. Your voice was world class.

This is the song that got me into gotthard,heard it on the rock show on Manx radio one Saturday evening back in early 90's, was blown away, still have the recording on cassette

Hush was written by Joe South in the 60s, Not Deep Purple. This version is better than Deep Purple's because they didn't use an organ solo, they used guitars. Much better, I bet Joe South would love this.

Yes i agree Gotthard´s modern Version has everything this song comes alive with them especially with, STEVE LEE´S Fantastic voice,shure im also a DEEP PURPLE FAN in every way --- but this GOTTHARD Version of the song has far more vitality/energy and life in it,------ then purple somewhat sleepy version However everyones always comparing this song with deep purple as original,----- Hell i bought this song years before deep purple ever played it,---- i bought it on the week of release,and it went big on BBC Radio 1 ---- back then it was made big by BILLY JOE ROYAL

Angela Jackowiak he is a Legend ! I saw him twice at 2 different shows and They were the best ever! I was only 7 and 10 years old but I REMEMBER those night like it was yesterday!
