I LOVE this one! Looks abstract, but more realistic than some of my other waves.

@@MOLLYSARTISTRY you are so correct here with this thought. (I don't work with fluid paints anymore due to the area I live in...no one is buying and too many people "doing it" themselves) However, it's such a fantastic way of painting. I love how what's in our minds for a piece can either work and surprise us greatly. Or it frustrates us horribly. It seems as though the paint has a mind of its own! I've done several waves but never thought to blow the paint around. What I'd do was place the colors then move them with either my finger or a paint brush handle. I'd get much the same results as you did in the middle section. I work now with my abstracts and landscapes. ...great videos., thanks.

That fact that I just read you're the same age as me (just turned 36 two days ago) and you only started doing this in 2018 and taught yourself is really inspiring for me to do this. I used to have tons of binders of drawings, paintings, my own comics, even my own video games with story boards that were essentially rip offs of Zelda, Mega Man and Castlevania lol. As I got older I eventually just stopped, but lately I've started drawing and I really want to start painting. I always had a collection of photos of sceneries I have a desire to draw or paint. I'm glad there's videos like this on KZfaq. It's really inspiring.

From this girl who has been a beach kid her whole life and on a surf board in my teens. I am retired now and my house faces the beach. You took me back Molly with this one. I was there with all of the kids and our boards, driving from beach to beach to find the best waves. I always loved the beach at the end of my street that I grew up in for swimming. I was never good enough for those waves and the rip. You took me back there and I could feel it. I could also feel what it felt like to have nothing to worry about but having fun. That was so needed just now. Thank you. ❤️
