just got the T2 yesterday and set it up. awesome lighting. I also turned the saturation down to 1% and the brightness up to 100%, and it looks great.

For anyone considering buying: You can tune this thing to be WAY more color accurate than what is demonstrated. As he said he runs saturation at 100% because he likes the vibrant colors, but look at his room. The whole room is RGB rainbow. If you run saturation around 15% ish, your lights will display the colors on screen instead of just displaying full red if it’s a warm color or full blue if it’s dark, and you won’t get the system confused and outputting rainbow on bright daytime scenes and you’ll get the color to match what’s on screen. So keep in mind, he likes seeing over saturated colors that are extreme over color accuracy, this is his personal preference. But I can say for most that lowering the saturation and keeping white balance skewed a little towards blue (which he did well) will give you much better results for most people’s preference: display the color on screen behind the screen. My T2 is on the way but I have the T1 right now and this is what I have discovered/researched

You could lay the camera under your tv. Colours would be reversed, so would need to reverse colour setting in calibration

I have the Govee T1, very happy with that. The room needs to be a little bit dark. Also you need to set it right. Then the experince is pretty good. I used on a 65 inch OLED, for 120hz Gaming on PS5 and PC.

Where did you find these videos to play for the demo? I feel like my colors are a little off and this would be a great way to see. I think i might need to start over with my calibration. It doesn’t seem too accurate in some corners and other areas. Did you put the orange boxes right on the corner or have a little space to pick up the right color. Thanks!

What you fail to mention is that not only do you get kickbacks from AMAZON and Govee .. but this is not much better than the T1 first one .. and doesn't warrant the 60+ extra bucks you will pay for it.. I personally had both and can barely tell the difference in performance between the 2.. So I sent mine back for refund and just saved the money and got another T1 series (single Camera) version...

Alright so I just returned the loycco sync box wanted to try it saw a video on it I didn't realize I had to have an hdmi input going like a DVD player or ps5 it can't use the TV apps? I mean idk much about sync boxes but doesn't every tv have apps? I don't want to turn on my ps4...(Can't find a ps5 anywhere hopeful for black Friday) just to watch Netflix...so you're saying this box uses the camera and it gives the immersive feel without an hdmi?

One thing I really don't like about these is that the colour stays even after it's no longer there on screen, rather than fading to black. It also seems to just display whatever colours it wants when there's black or greys on the screen, which makes it even less immersive than if there were no lights at all. I bought something from Lightpack almost a decade ago that worked much better than this.

I have the Dreamview Pro T1 and its great love it so I decide to buy the 3m rope light, unfortunately cant say the say for that. Ive placed the bar in a line design high up above my tv and the colour sync when in Dreamview Mode/Part setting is dire, just solid blocks of colour showing, no gradient no nothing, see videokzfaq.info/get/bejne/gMegnKpqndulYKM.html . In full mode its ok and corresponds with the tv lights and light bars but the accuracy diminishes a LOT, so maybe im not doing something right or its just not capable of syncing well with the T1 very well. As just a light decoration its fine but again, when in music mode my flickers in whatever scene its in even when there is no sound, you also have to have whatever music you are playing LOUD for them them to react in any rythm with music, even though the mic is set right next to the tv. Also if you select your phone mic as source you automatically lose what scene you were in and just get pulsating random block colours???? Anybody else have any experience of this any heads up would be much appreciated. They also piss me off how they keep changing their prices all the time.
