Government allocates land to musician Akon - Land wrangle in “Akon City”

Residents of Mpunge sub-county in Mukono district are in shock after the government allocated more than 600 acres of their land to musician Akon to build a city. This was addressed during a meeting called by local leaders, who expressed concern over a letter from the Uganda Land Commission alerting them that their land would be surveyed on July 11, 2024.

Government want to get land only Akon has long failed in his project and no money for him . If he already failed in his own country . Just like a story of Kenya sending their police officers to Haiti when home they are failing . For so long we have been yes let's let's see now.
