Government apologizes for providing false information on federal money to big grocery retailers

I raised a Question of Privilege in the House of Commons this week.
On Monday, the government tabled a response to my Order Paper Question, which was seeking information regarding how much federal money has been doled out to some of the wealthiest corporations in the country - grocery retailers like Loblaw that have been price-gouging Canadians when they shop to feed themselves.
The government’s response was patently false, so I lodged a formal complaint with the Speaker. The government, on the same day, apologized and signalled its intent to provide the correct information.

Just a couple of observations....I don't think that ndp minister will be a part of the ndp/liberal government much longer. And secondly, it appears that to be a member of the liberal party, one of the most important qualifications is to be able to read what the party has written for you.

Imagine the NDP apologizing to the Grocery sector! The NDP should be apologizing to all the Canadians who are suffering & struggling b/c of the Jagoff Singsong NDP leader backing up Trudeau so he can get the Liberal Government to ladt in power long enough for Jagoff to qualify for his gold plated tax payer pension which he will only qualify for after 6 years of service to Canada but I’d say that is just crap, what service, he means time put in till he qualifies in February 2025.
