If they wanted to, they could phish everyone, not security researchers. That would be how they get fired... or thrown under the rug and disappeared, either one. Heck, with a good enough spoofing setup you could be Google or Microsoft if you wanted, neither have DNSSEC setup at all.

I'm getting wiffs of a customized Boostrap being used which is kinda funny for a bigger government agency. Looks like they were either under time pressure or there is something sinister going on here akin to a phishing attack, honeypot, etc.
