When he talks about lowering drug prices and how that takes away from the development of new life-saving drugs, isn't the life-saving drug research government-funded (grants and such), and therefore not affected by the lowering of existing medicine prices? Why does the incumbent harp on the 15 new "cures" the mitigating drug costs would prevent? I'm betting the "15 new cures" are wholely hypothetical and should be completely yeet of this debate. Also, if our government has no hand in that research I mention, why not?

It should not be abused, I have first hand experience of people who are depressed, abused, and other mental issues who use marijuana and committed suicide. It is a drug that can be abused.

Although marijuana itself is a herb that has medical and healing properties such as using it as THC oil, cannabis and marijuana that has helped people from with a doctor's note be given to kids (THC oil), to adults, to seniors with severe health problems without knowing the sources from the cannabis it can be laced and that has caused deaths in people. Notice how he never used 1st person singular when describing his positions. It was all about how “we” believe in what “our” policies are. The policies pushed were the most stereotypically “out there” extreme libertarian takes. It felt more like a ad for libertarian ideals than an actual attempt to win the election. In addition he was rude and came off as very whiny. Yes, he wasn’t asked as many questions, but he still seemed to go over on almost every question and was downright insufferable at times. He made Abrams look professional/sympathetic by comparison.

I would love to see how Libertarians would fix roads WITHOUT tax money. Who's gonna pay the private contractors Shane Hazel thinks should take over all the tasks currently handled by government. You gotta either create a pool of money in the government or charge special assessments to individuals. Ask the people of Florida who have suffered devastating loss from hurricane Ian whether they think nobody should have to pay taxes. The taxes we pay are to improve our cities, states and country. That's why it galls me that everybody is hell-bent on avoiding the payment of taxes. You couldn't work for free.....neither can the government. Everyone needs to pay a fair share.
