I appreciate the fact that he actually answers questions directly and provides examples.

For future reference, make sure y’all have someone like Angela Rye on here when you interview figures like Candace Owens.

I survived off of "free lunch" and "Summer breakfast/lunch programs". I can't stand the commentary from people that have never been hungry and/or have never assisted people that are or have been hungry.

I've heard him talk on various talk shows, and I've always liked him. Seeing this interview makes me like him even more! He answered questions, he was direct, contrite, honest and was able to back up what he was saying! I wish more of our elected officials talked like this! Democrats take notes!

I’m from PA, my family still lives there and my brother died from Fentynal, Meth and other stuff. You need to do more for addicts Mr Shapiro. It saddens me how many ppl are dealing with this. Adults need drug treatment and mental health.

This guy was my commissioner in MontCo back when I was a kid. He worked himself up to Governor. Career politician yes; but probably one of the best and genuine of that breed.

As a healthcare worker in a public hospital in Pennsylvania there is a lot of mandatory training for cultural differences, religious considerations, LGBTQ+ community and more. For example, In my area we occasionally have Amish clients so we learn about considerations when discussing home set up, household duties, or access to technology. I have become aware of my own biases and for me I feel like more education can help with ignorant beliefs or learned biases. Then there is, of course, repercussions for unprofessional behavior. I think it should be the same with police whether state or local. I also love seeing Governor Shapiro attack the issues from multiple angles

When I worked for a major big box retailer, our stores had to have store managers that looked like the community they represented. If they understood that 20 years ago I’m pretty sure it’s effective 💯

I live in Pittsburgh the second biggest city in Pennsylvania and we only have 40 police officers protecting our city so yes we do want more police but we definitely don't. But I blame that our a mayor not on him

I am calling for the release of Marquis Thomas, my brother. He is in Pennsylvania state prison and has been convicted and sentenced to life in October 2021 for a crime he did not commit. His ex girlfriend lied on him and we even have paperwork saying it was his ex girlfriends father who abused the kids. We have transcripts saying the grandfather did this. Marquis and our lawyer have the paperwork but the DA said they don’t care. Please help my family. He’s innocent and is being racially profiled in Montgomery county. He also did not have sole custody at the time and they lied about that. He has no record, no history and no motive. There is also no time of death and you cannot charge someone without a time of death. This could be the biggest case in the United States if it gets out. We also have autopsy reports and records indicating this was not a homicide. During trial the autopsy person said the child’s death was due to cpr. We also have assumption and hearsay in this case. Which is wrong. Hearsay was thrown out in Pennsylvania in July 2020. His ex coached her son to lie on my brother. Also the jury was deadlocked on first degree murder. We overheard the judge tell someone that they need first degree. He also told the jury to go for a walk after a few jurors passed out and could not decide. He then told them to deliberate on third degree murder since they are hung on first but 30 minutes later they came back with first degree. They set my brother up. He is innocent sitting in prison for a crime he did not do. So I have an 85 y.o. sister who benefits from some of the older adult programs in Pennsylvania, that I have been able to coordinate from North Carolina, due to having worked in social services in both PA and NC. In addition, it is imperative for older African Americans to learn how to access these services to address health disparities which Pennsylvania does well. Finally, older adults receive a $1000 property/tax rebate which helps offset various costs older adults have due to all the lottery money going to older adult programs.

Pennsylvania is the worst toll road state in the country. I paid almost $400 for I76 Ohio to Jersey border 2016. So a billion dollars for education means higher toll cost for most trucking company and owner operator. So it's definitely getting pushed down to companies again. Imagine how much that toll cost now
