Taking up the job of a veterinary officer (VO) is quite a common practice in Indian Veterinary students after they complete their Bachelor's Degree.
Reason?
A. It's a government job (oof, society pressure) - hence, job security and advantages.
B. It's a Class 1 job - so one can enjoy so many perks.
The pay grade, in Punjab starts at approximately 47,650/-
While through UPSC, the pay grade varies from around 36,000 - 39,890/-
While the job of a VO is so fulfilling and filled with excitement - provided that you can work in a hospital as well as in-field, people often limit it to just being another attractive govt. job.
In this video, I have focused on what exactly is a VETERINARY OFFICER - apart from just a government job. And of course, I have included other details such as - eligibility criteria, conducting agency and exam pattern.
So watch this video till the end and know more about this beautiful opportunity. ❤
