The Walton Raiders choke away another State Championship after a perfect season, just like 10 years ago. Referees giving the Milton Eagles a mulligan on the missed field goal totally turned the game around. Had the referee been paying attention and kept the flag in his pocket, we're talking about a totally different ballgame. Milton made great adjustments at halftime and totally dominated the second half. Raiders crumbled under the pressure, Hecklinski in particular made numerous bad throws against strong coverage. This was the Raiders' game to win and they let it get away. East Cobb County's dream of a High School Football State Champion is going to have to wait...

Too bad we couldn't watch LIVE because the feed for television was so screwed up. Nice work, GPB... most important game of the year and you can't solve technical problems FOR HOURS! Made it utterly unwatchable...
