I'm designing an FPV airframe now that will use INAV as the platform because the options and technical capabilities are the greatest from this system if looking to combine manual FPV with supporting functions to help the pilot (lidar tof for accurate alt reading for example) this I feel is the opposite philosophy and strategy adopted by mainstream drone users, which is to replace rather than augment skill and essentially the pilot with an artificial system, removing skill and practice and systems accesible to engineer and in my opinion removing the superior ability of humans to fly better than machines.
