GR Corolla JB4 Tune Install - Aussie How To (Right Hand Drive)

Joshy was keen to come around and get his new JB4 installed onto his GR Corolla. The JB4 is in beta phase, so there isn't much help available from BMS at the moment, but they do have great support and updates to their systems/tuner.
We followed the BMS/Burger Motorsports instructions for how to route the OBD wires. If anyone has any other awesome ideas to pass that cable through, especially if through the firewall, please share - that would be hugely appreciated!
Otherwise, the installation was pretty easy and straight forward. The JB4 is seriously easy for any DIY'er at home. Their instructions were also easy to follow and had pictures to go with.

Nice circuit! Im jelly cause of the color but i didnt hsve the option in the core i opted for. Great video.

I would wait the bcm module to appear - it improves the boost management alot. Can of course be installed also afterwards

Is the jb4 already tuned for stock gr ? It are there pre set tunes that you choose from?

@@WhiteDiamondTL - yep it has a few maps from factory. It's best to do logs and test with them. Jump on google and type JB4Tech Forums and they will run you through the process.

just a fair warning, people have been having heat soak issues with all of the new power with these systems. may want to upgrade cooling after using these!

Hey man, I'll get my nephew Josh to come give you his feedback on it. Last I spoke to him, he was loving the JB4 on the GR Corolla.

I think it’s an awesome addition to the GR Corolla. Having just that little bit extra boost is very nice. That being said I have only kept it in map 1 but you can instantly feel the difference. I highly recommend. If install is your biggest worry it’s 100 times easier than I thought it would be. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I would recommend, it takes about 30 minutes for install if you understand wiring. It does make the difference. Best bang for your buck
