Hand tools woodworking - Oak and mahogany wood. I think there is no need to share the sizes since I selected the sizes according to my tools. I was inspired by this chest from the Fine Woodworking magazine - Necessary tool chest.
Emigrant's tool chest - when moving, you need to put everything in one box and take it with you to your new place. Of course, not everything fits into it, but the most necessary tools to get started will fit quite well. The lock for the lid is a pity not brass and there were also no handles on the sides of the chest - as soon as I find it, I’ll install it right away. The finishes are usually tung oil with carnauba wax.
Thank you, friends, for your donations and gifts - thanks to you, the channel is growing! Thanks to those who support me and my channel on PayPal : www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted...
Thanks for watching, Regards Yurii🤗

Good afternoon...you say you are retired...by any chance did you ever make or work on a "Hoosier cabinet" or a roll top desk? If so, do you have any suggestions on the creation please? I managed to get my hands on some hardwood that is 100+ years old! I'll practice on cheap stuff first but I can't think of a better project to use antique wood for than antique style furniture!

No other word needed other than Perfection. So nice to watch a true craftsman on KZfaq without begging for subscribers and likes, sponsors and Chinese tool reviews. Loved the close up images, just the sound of sharp quality tools with a hint of music, could watch this all day long. Can’t beat a hand cut dovetail coming together. Loved the chill out zen moment…. Think I can smell wood and incense. 🤔 Brilliant work Sir. 👍🏼

Simply one of the best hand tool wood workers on KZfaq. I love that there is no narrative or tedious sponsorship deals. Nothing more relaxing than listening to tools. One of the best videos I've watched and I have watched many. Keep it up. And, more importantly stay safe.

It’s June 27, 2024, and my soil is approaching 90 degrees. Nothing will germinate except a few heat loving plants, so my whole garden is planted in okra and cow peas. I have two varieties of each. I love okra and I will pickle some and freeze some for stews and gumbos. The cow peas are a great source of protein in soups. I love making vegetable soup with all the peas, beans okra and a nice piece of chuck roast.

Under the file of “Now you know!” is this awesome idea of pewter, and all that you have added here about it. Brilliant! I have done two urns now. One was just laser etched on the “plates” on the sides and top. Turned out beautiful. I know you don’t want to do jigs but I did this first one with box joints. Second one was a v carve top, loved the way it carved. This one was done with 45 mitres for the top. Good luck and look forward to part 2!

I like the way you appear to be only pushing the planes enough to move them forward but you are not exerting much downward force allowing the weight of the plane to suffice. This means “ Body English” errors are reduced.
