It's good that you were able to take your kids out of Uganda without a problem. I do not know your laws, but here in the U.S. if you are divorced from your spouse, you can't take the kids under 18 out of the state not even out the country without the the court's jurisdiction especially if both parties are having joint custody of the young children.
