The most precious gem ever shown on your videos is YOU!!! You are absolutely adorable and are simply a very sweet and good person. Many "finders-keepers" wouldn't try to reunite lost belongings with their owners...and at your own expense to boot! Very comendable. Ya English detectorist here again, starting from the beginning and working through your videos. I find under water metal detecting fascinating! It is very difficult in England as the water is cold, murky and the sea's are rough. But the land here is rich in history and I have found some breathtaking finds over the last 7 years. You had some really nice finds and I look forward to working my way through your videos :) ps - loved the kitty at the end

I have two Excaliber detectors and will be going to Aruba in 15 days, just after my 84th birthday. I don't have my scuba gear anymore so will be snorkeling instead. I only have a long weekend to spend there! I have enjoyed your travels and videos especially because my wife and I visited and detected while sailing our boat around the Bahamas and spending time visiting friends in the Turks and Caicos. We live near Niagara Falls and I have metal detected around here and in Florida since 1967. Happy Hunting!

I've stayed at that resort Royal West Indies many times. It is unreal. The beach is as fine a semolina flour and the water is as clear as a tap. I took out one of the hobie cats and a pod of dolphins with a calf were swimming all around us and racing us. Lovely.

Nicely done video, informative, I appreciated how you documented your kit, and the round-up at the end answered all my questions about your finds. The "diamond ring" was very exciting, too bad a fake but the big ones almost always are. "Almost." I searched for "Grace Bay" so I am glad you thoughtfully included the location in your title. Last but not least, you create a lovely presence on screen, I hope I see more.

I have a ring that looks similar to the one you found. The diamond one. Mine is sterling with Swarovski crystal stones. So pretty there! Neat you found two identical rings too!

Nora. Don’t use steelwool to clean because you scratch and damage the items, specially the coins. Use ultrasound for dirt removing a for silver coins I used once electro galvanized. DC current 9V with a piece of stainless steel and the silver item (don’t remember which is anode or cathode make a try). Regards

Try Guadalupe, Each of us (group of 5) would find 1-2 ounces of gold each week (I've only done two weeks in '09 and '11). 2-4 beaches a day. Based in bungalo at St. Anne. .rent van if have many..otherwise, smaller vehicle or bike. Good luck and congrats! Still working towards goal of doing this full time. In the meantime, I'll live vicariously through you. :-) Chad
