I think Tina and Grace are on an equal level. These women are cut from a different cloth to us. I don’t know how Grace does it! The first time I heard Grace’s voice was when I was about 5 years old and I heard Pull up to the Bumper Baby, I heard it playing on someones radio while I was on holiday in Jamaica my very first time. I love it when Grace connects with her Jamaican roots, and speaks with the Jamaican accent. Long live the one and Only Grace Jones.

I have no words to express how much I admire Grace Jones as an artist and a woman. I was 13yrs old when I watched Grace Jones performing La vie en Rose on TV and I was immediately intrigued and I still am. Now I'm 56 and I can still start screaming out of excitement when I see or listen to her. To me she will always be the ONE & ONLY MISS GRACE JONES !!!

I'm watching this video performance, and I'm 71 years old, and I forgot just how old we are. What I'm saying is that I remember her from the late 1970's, early 80's, and this performance is recent. With Tina Turner gone, Grace and Patti Labelle are the old school divas remaining; you go girl.

But hey, there are always critics. If you are a critic you will always find something to support that criticism. Like if you address something with love, you'll probably get some love in return. Imagine her older or the same age as Elton John or Paul McCartney performing live for the Queens birthday celebration jubilee year they're barely sounding like they can sing and she, a Black Jamaican woman dressed in a rubber red dress and a red rubber wig gets up to perform... Slave To The Rhythm. The song is an anthem of anti colonialism anti racism and is based according to Grace herself in the pan African independentist anti colonial theory of Marcus Garvey. For the Queen. The head of state Jamaica rebuked in its independence. For the heir to the fortunes and crowns that made of it a plantation and her ancestors slaves. To her face. We love you, Queen, she said. Not which Queen. Just Queen. While hula hooping through the entire 6 or 7 minutes of the track. And it sounded flawless with a full orchestra backing her. She blew Sir Paul and Sir Elton out of the water, singing a song that was anti monarchy anti colonial and anti British empire. How the palace said yes to that I will never know, but Elizabeth is laughing so hard she's almost in tears. You see her telling people nearby how much she's loving it. It's the only time she's really emotional in the whole program. Because Grace got up there in front of her 65 years old and she blew the cobwebs out of her gilded cage whilst flipping her the bird on her bloody birthday and it seems only she and Grace understood what was going on at all. Only Grace could have pulled that off.

Very interesting and awesome to see this performance!! At 75, she is still doing well & can wear the kind of outfit she’s wearing here! Most people would think it’s gross at her age, but she has prove. Herself to be timeless. It’s like the one piece outfit is the thing to wear these days. The tribal markings on her are unique & I love her head dress. What’s interesting is that I’m not hearing anyone in the comments, saying that she’s too old to be dressed like this and things like that. That is so refreshing! Especially when you take into consideration, the backlash that Madonna has received at 60. To me, it’s really hard to compare the two. However, Madonna seems to have a desperate energy about her as she ages while Grace is unbothered and is aging GRACEFULLY ❤️🔥💯💥✨

Loved Grace from the first time I saw her in the eighties , love her to bits, love her music , her style and f*** you attitude , one of the greatest solo performers of all time….she is electric from the second she walks on stage until she leaves……what a woman, what an artist , what a wild experience.❤️❤️🎹🥁🎼🎤

I Agree with you ! That Why , I have Admired Different Phases and Races and Cultures of Music . Throughout the the Years I was able to Relate to it . I just turned , 58 Years Old . And the Younger People , Can’t Even Believe me , When I tells them My Age . They tell me That I looks to be in my late 30,s . All Smiles . 😊

Sing, dance, engage with the audience and introduce the band while hula hooping the entire time at 75 in the middle of a concert.....I can't and I'm 15 years younger! I have "ALL" respect for Grace Jones! Grace Jones and the late Tina Turner are "SUPERIOR" performers!
