@@SocialKlyma I've done covers of Goodnight Attawapiskat and So Hard Done By on my channel - but man, you take it to another level. I agree with the comment that you could be a Gordie fill in. I was at the August 12 show in Toronto on their final tour and Grace Too was the absolute highlight - always was, always will be my fave Hip tune. Happy I found you - looking forward to your future work.

Thanks, man! It's a late 80s 510 Dreadnaught (maybe '87, if I remember right). I found it on a consignment rack in Lafayette, IN in 2003. The previous owner hadn't played it much at all. After years of living in a case in that dude's closet (neglect!!!), this old guitar was itchin' to be played. We get along great! Hey now, if you haven't subscribed to my channel, please consider it. Hey, this is frickin Awesome! Too bad there are big parts of the world that haven't really fallen in love with the Hip like they would if they were exposed to them. Kinda makes you feel sorry for those big parts of the world, and makes you wonder what excellent music we here in Canada haven't been exposed to.

Interesting timing with this comment! I have never taught guitar and only recently took a shot at posting a lesson video (Doc Watson's solo on "Don't Monkey Round My Widder" - very different song from "Grace, Too"). A friend said I should make another lesson video. I laughed and asked, "What could I possibly teach people?" So... I dunno... maybe this. Thanks for the suggestion!

@@SocialKlyma I’ll take a look for sure. I’m able to pick up most of your licks from the video but that opening is killing me!! If you did a tutorial (the way you jam it) it would be popular. There are only a couple tutorials of this song and they are on electric. Your rendition is funky and people would love it. Thanks for the quick response. yeah, Dropped D. Singing this song in E really pushes my vocal (baritone/tenor range). That whole step down gives me a little vocal reprieve and it just sounds cool on guitar. Thanks for the nice comment!
