So true! You know that Grace wrote this amazing song while on the set of "Stargirl" in the NM Desert. Director Julia Hart included it at the end of the film as the credits roll... it's very soothing as we reflect on what we have just seen... Wonderful Flick!! Also, the sequel "Hollywood Stargirl" has completed filming and will be released in a few months (hopefully)! Likely available on Disney+ too I would imagine.

Her music is great, but I really hope at some point she upgrades to guitar or focuses solely on singing and leaves the playing to a band. The maturity of her lyrics and vocal performance are increasing exponentially, but I think the ukelele shows her young age, and detracts rather than enhances her as a package. It sounds like a toy. It was cute on AGT, but she's light years away from where she started.

Robert Shields heck no! The ukulele is part of her brand and it doesn’t sound like a toy at all. The ukulele is an instrument and just because it’s smaller doesn’t mean it’s for kids.

Robert Shields no need to sound rude but I think it’s ridiculous to say that the ukulele is “a toy”, it has a beautiful tone and it’s so simplistic. I don’t think that she should ever feel pressured by her audience to change her instrument just to seem more “mature”. She’s been playing ukulele forever and she actually hasn’t made a song using the ukulele in years, this song was actually written when she was 14, and she does usually leave the playing to the band at concerts, I’m sorry but you have stated a few very invalid points, I understand u are allowed ur own opinion and that’s great but u clearly aren’t educated with the facts. She is free to play whatever instrument makes her happy, make whatever music she wants, act whatever age she wants, and just be herself. Have a great day :)
