Gracy Singh is an excellent actress. I'm glad that she decided to not expose, but I'm sad that due to that, she stopped getting the offers. What a sad film industry. No matter what, Gracy Singh remains a beautiful artist all around and we will always remember her graceful presence in all the films that she has acted in.

Gracy Singh...she was very different from the actors in late 90s & she made her mark visible with her acting skills, even in early 2000, she did act in some good movies. Human beings do err & over here too Gracy took some decisions in a hurry which did not help her career & on the other side there was competition from new actors too. All this is now past....Happy to learn that she has found inner peace in Brahmakumaris... May she continue to grow spiritually..

22 years ago, Lagan released today (14/06). I saw the first day first show. Gracy was looking so natural but her acting ability was quite ordinary as compared to everybody else. She was looking great in songs though. In any of her movies she could not repeat the depth of her TV work maybe due to lack of focus or some other cause. But ladies really liked her and the oldest Amanat sister (Santosh). I wonder what happened to her. I remember it all like it just happened now. I was in high school. The irritating hero of the serial obviously never rose to much fame.

@@natka6649 I was also in high school. It was a very average serial as per me. Nobody could actually act. I clearly remember the story. It was focussed on Punjabi audience which are a big number like my family was senti about it. Many other serials were made later like it.

I want to ask Indian men: if actress exposing is a bad thing, why do you love watching actresses who show skin? I think let's not be judgemental and see actresses as characters onscreen. If the role or song demands skimpy clothes, it's fine. If a role demands the character to be covered up, that's fine. A character can be covered up in scenes with other characters but need to do intimate scenes with her onscreen partner, that's also ok. Acting is a craft. So let's judge the craft, not the clothes. I don't think Gracy made the wrong decision. It's the industry that was wrong for pushing women to expose their bodies so much in order to advance their careers. Women should be respected for maintaining some standards and it should be the norm. If women don't maintain such limits then everyone blames the women when lecherous producers and directors try to entice them with the casting couch and treat them like prostitutes- your own episode on Mumta Kulkarni shows how exposing the body can really backfire and damaged her career as well.
