I'm doing basically same thing with a 6 way blade made for 3 point of a big tractor. Blade itself works much better than the 6 way made for skid steer, I'm able to turn blade and cut in reverse and doesn't jump out of ground like the Kubota blade I had did, the counterweight of machine is actually working for me in reverse.. .... I went and robbed a 7 bank with proportional valves. I get really tired of the cost of a 14 pin pigtail costs to repair or replace, but still wanted to utilize factory switches in machine. 3 switches only need 6 wires. So I went and got a 7 way trailer plug , piggybacked into backside of 14 pin plug once I figured out which wires went the 3 switches. I always bending, breaking 14 pin plug on Kubota blabe. Not saying I won't on this one, but trailer plugs are way cheaper and easier to find

Hi Mike. Watching your older videos. Looks like it works perfect, to me. When you treat people nice, they want to be helpful. It's a give and take. We watch you do this. You give of your time, equipment and etc. People will respond, in most cases the same. Ed from Chicago 😀

AWESOME! I'm gonna have to do that with mine, I have the toggle switch set up that I zip tie to the stop bar, and like you, I didn't want to spend the $1500 for the system that is on the market. I do have automatics, but, I searched around, and happened onto a bargain, and jumped on it! GREAT WAY TO BE THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX!

Hey, that looks pretty darn good! I think you made the best with what you had and saved some big bucks! I think if that valve on the blade were setup for closed-center hydraulics (assuming the skidsteer supported that) it would work a lot better, but like you said it's still far better than the toggle switch setup! Thanks for the shout-out! It was great meeting up with you guys! Feel free to hit me up if you have any other electrical questions like that! Thanks for the video!

So. The best solution is a proper grader control setup. Meaning, each cylinder has independent control. So basically I’m proposing TWO joystick controls. And, y’all appreciate this some day when yah gotcha a real live motor grader cause your business model justifies owning one. Ifn yah ever run a grader, it’s a busy day. Lotsa levers, or joysticks with lotsa buttons. But. . . That’s a lot going on for a dozer hand. Prolly too much. LOL. So this’ll work. After all, ain’t nobody gonna pave or put concrete on these jobs your working. Right? That’d require blue tops- feathers, Or GPS. (Yep, overwhelming!). This will work. And getcha paid.

I like how you can lift both sides at the same time but when you need precision you need to be able to do each side individually, especially with the bleedover. You'll know what I'm saying when you go to use it. Like you'll want one side up a bit but want the other side to stay where it's at.
