@@appu5ful quality ply beats hdhmr for strength. HDHMR is technically MDF which has been rebranded. HDHMR is just slightly denser than MDF. Ideally hdhmr is useful for only shutters/doors/palle but for that its better to use exterior grade MDF since its cheaper & serves the same purpose plus its a little lighter so the hinges last longer. Don't just go after brand name ply, after a price point all ply is same in strength & quality. There is literally no difference in ply after a certain price point. Only difference is which has more marketing. The quality of ply you can get for 150 in local brand you will be paying 225+ in brand name. All ply uses same resin to chemically treat & if its a quality ply it will be made fully from hardwood veneer cores not alternate or mixed wood ply cores.

The quality of BWP ply you can get for 150 in local brand you will be paying 225+ in brand name. All ply makers be it century, green etc uses same resin to chemically treat & if its a quality ply it will be made fully from hardwood veneer cores not alternate or mixed wood ply cores. MR will always be cheaper than BWP. Buy based on application.
