Grading A Road With An RC Motor Grader in

Extending the new road by bringing gravel for the dozer to push flat grading with the rc volvo grader then compacting it with the Roller.
The Volvo is a full 3D printed grader. The roller is a converted Bruder vibrating compactor roller. The Dozer is a converted Bruder dozer.
The sound kit in the Grader is from Beier who makes the best sound and light kits for RC vehicles.
All this done with Realism as the key to making it look good!

Nice touch of details like string line to set the frame & grate in line of the curb & gutter of the storm water catch bassin . I was a pipe layer for 18yrs & the company I layed pipe for thats how I would get center of catch bassin & to set frame & grate.

Hi! When could we see a water test of the drains? I'm printing them and will be using them to de-water low spots in my yard

Lol they were not designed to be 100% accurate for full size drainage. I would guess if you sealed it and had the right fall on it then it would drain to the lowest point. But on a future video I will try and show water flow.

@@RCConstructionHobby yes exactly. I sealed them and if i make everything leveled it will work like a normal system. The only thing is that the catch basins need the pipe to be higher so any silt will be trapped in the "silt trap" at the bottom.

@@RCConstructionHobby you did a great job. I fixed it and now i will try to make a system like this: 2 catch basins connected to the collector with the round sewer cap. From there it continues through a bigger 25mm pipe and then it goes in to the round well thingy and that goes in to a container underground to pump the water out. Do you have some discord or something? I could maybe send the fixed files or even upload photo's

I have discord but haven't used it in a while. I can fix the model and move the hole up on the catch basin as well as the main sewer.

sorry no stl files for the grader. there are stl files for the dozer tracks and sprocket. you can find them on cults3d.com.

sumbled randomly across this channel, subscribed :) you make me buy a cat d5 dozer for an rc conversion. i build a custom mercedes benz sk (pre facellift) 3344 with a carson Lowloader who needs something to tansport :D may i ask you what sound module you use in the d5? i watched your Video where you compare the 2 budgetversions with the sfr-1 (i use the USM Rc-2 in my truck and its awesome!) regards

Thanks for subscribing. The sound in the video is of a real machine. The d5 does not have a sound kit in it but would be nice to have one. Beier does make really good sound kits! If you need a guide I made a video on how to make the d5 conversion.
