Did you know that I Told You So not only comes in cardboard, but also short pieces of 12/2 wire, old toolboxes, steel posts, childhood toys, tractor implements, and even old t-shirts? That grading bolt-on is a great idea!

I used to do signs, I saw u take a picture of the end of ur piece and then measure it, I used to take a picture and hold a tape up there so my measurements were already in my pics. Also great shot of Keystone girl in slow motion.....

Just go to the scrap yard pick up a piece of I beam hold it with your bucket and thumb you can change it to any angle you want. Not as pretty but it works. If you're really going savage A log works🤔

Great design I welded a plate on my bucket that stays on all the time. If you get a chance find you a 6” pipe and make a mop to go on your bucket as well. You will find that real handy as well. If you want check one of my videos were I am useing that pipe and see what you think. Love the video and take care and stay safe.

Nicely done!! I really enjoy this kind of content - actually, I enjoy all of your content. This video was nowhere near "too long". I was unaware of the calibrate feature in Fusion 360. I don't currently use 360, but that might be the feature that convinces me to switch.

Nice video, nice trifactor! This was the first time, one of your falls seemed unintentional and pretty hurtful. So, either you're becoming a better stunt actor or you're getting even more clumsy... You really need a bucket of Kimron blue/teal for these attachments. This thing turned out fancy! Keep up your good work.

The "Trifecta" , great video Kyle. I bought a trenching bucket for my Kubota mini ex to muck my pond, works great. That was a good video on how you worked up the design from cardboard to a finished product. The calibrate/canvas feature in Fusion 360 was really cool. Would love to see more of that down the road.

Solid work Kyle! The engraving on the paint sparked an idea: You could do some pretty wild acid etching using that technique with the laser and metal...

I personally don't mind the longer video lengths. If you find that the cutting edge is wearing quickly, you could use some hard facing welding rod (such as Forney Supercote) and put an edge on there. You could also use some AR400 steel for the edge, but that's a lot more trouble to weld and usually requires pre-heating and low hydrogen filler rod.

This was a great video. You thought out your design pretty well. Neat project to illustrate. The feature using your cell phone and importing to fusion is a really neat and useful feature. Showing the plasma table, the laser engraving and using the camera made for great build. I know you are just trying to add a little humor but I hope we don't see an accident getting you hurt from the stunt work you add. 🙂As always, thanks for sharing. Great project! I would have done it differently by getting another set of teeth and making the blade attach to them (with the spicy glue gun), that way there would be no extra holes in the bucket, but there are multiple ways to "count to 10"!!!!

I have a suggestion for ya, (I know your not on "youShould" your on "youTube" but with the awesome CNC system you have could make up some excavator quick attach bucket ear mounts for the 1ton mini's 90mmx92mm for the rest of us DIY'ers who have welders but no CNC system...yet and sell they really cheap or you could sell them for a reasonable amount too lol.

Those are basically called a butter board in the excavation world. But usually we just weld a flat piece of steel to the teeth on the bucket. I like your design better.

I did not. I just left some tolerances so it would fit. Probably got lucky with how well it fit together.

I havent used the grading edge yet but i think your talking about the Kymron. I almost have 50hrs on it. About to perform the first service. Its been holding up great. Ive been working it pretty hard too.

Just throwing this out there ...Cutting and tacking on a 3/8"piece AR400 to those teeth takes literally 30 seconds and will outlive the piece you spent days using CAD, Plasma tables and engravers on.

I did consider that but i wanted something that was quick to remove without pounding the pins out and buying a second set of teeth.

I feel sad for people who don’t have a mag drill. Even the Morphon or Vevor versions are infinitely better than a hand drill.

I do plan on getting one. I couldnt have used it there though. There was a big welded seam. I suppose i could have shimmed it

@@SpicerDesignsLLC a chunk of 5/8 plate with some clamps and creativity will go a long way! Btw, if you haven’t found the Kant-Twist clamps yet they are magic.
