This is very helpful. Thank you very much! The gradle plugin API does look like you are writing an annotation processor. Very similar, but solving different problems. This does help to understand how Android is doing things also. Btw would be great if you put the github link in the description if the source is open.

From Android developer perspective this is very useful as it allows to understand one more part of the project a bit more in depth and how it works. Most of the developers will not encounter creating custom tasks, but if they do, this is a good starting point. I use custom gradle tasks specifically for cross platform localization files. Would be amazing to get more recordings like this and what it can do to help mobile projects.

I'm trying to follow video, but getting following error when I created foo/settings.gradle.kts : code insight unavailable (script configuration wasn't received). I'm using intellij idea IDE. pls give some hints. Great video
