Other notes: For our final siren test with Dylan, we decided to check out this fairly newly discovered 10/12 port Banshee 110 in Graettinger. I never knew these even existed until I saw the first recording of this thing. It makes sense though since 8/12 port variants were also made, in addition to the more common 9/12 and 8 ports. I decided to get a more distant tree shot of this, and I'd say it turned out pretty good, although hopefully KZfaq won't compress the video too much. From underneath, it was probably similar in loudness to New Hampton's 10/12 Allertor (125.9 dBA, 122 dBC) although definitely not as loud as Cedar Falls. This was a pretty cool experience and I'm glad we were able to come here. Also, Dylan planted his audio recorder near the tennis courts and the baseball/football field on the south side of town to get a further distance recording, about 0.4 miles from the Banshee, so stay tuned for that as well.....whenever he gets around to uploading it lol. Enjoy!
