there are tons of amazing chinese shows, be it variety, reality, drama or talk shows. unfortunately as china is a big enough market many companies do not feel the need to go international which saddens me as a chinese as I wish so much that the world can see and learn more about our culture and ppl. Chinese are extremely talented and hardworking, as much as koreans (personal opinion: even more so but only for the talented part, i acknowledge the koreans r extremely extremely hardworking). and it saddens me even more to see western/european countries talk shit about china when all they read is a few lines in an article without verifying whether it is true or not and label china as a horrible communist society that controls the lives of the ppl like a dictatorship and a bunch of exaggerated crap

The quality of trainees in this show is way higher than the first PD101 girls' version in China where their first evaluation was an utter mess that really showed the lack of a training system in China. I am not fully aware but to see how much better the trainees are here gives me hope that one day, we could have a top Chinese girl group of quality in every aspect - vocal, dance rap, personality etc. - that rivals what Korea has to offer.

@@regemcalderon6977 not an expert (btw im not Chinese) but in my opinion, their clothes are a modern version of the Hanfu with the black turtleneck to modernist it. The fabric of the skirts are so flowy and remind me of the Hanfu. The hanfu is honestly so very beautiful. The clothes match the theme of the song with chinese traditional instruments/music blended with more modern beats.
