ဝါကျအမည်နင့် ဝါကျတည်ဆောက်ပုံလေးမျိုး
A) 4 Types of Sentences: ဝါကျအမည် လေးမျိုး
1) Declarative (အဖြေ ဝါကျ): I go to school.
2) Exclamatory (အံ‌ဪ ဝါကျ): Hey!, or Oh My God!
3) Imperative (မိန့်ပေး တောင်းဆို ဝါကျ): Come! or Please come here.
4) Interrogatory (အမေးဝါကျ): Who are you?
B) 4 Types of Sentence Structures: တည်ဆောက်ပုံ လေးမျိုး
1) Simple (လွပ်လပ် ဝါကျတကြောင်း): She goes to the store every day.
2) Compound (လွတ်လပ်ဝါကျ နစ်ကြောင်း): The store opens at 8, and it closes at 4.
3) Complex (လွတ်လပ် နင့် မှီးခိုး ဝါကျ): She will go to store when it opens.
4) Compound-complex (လွတ်လပ် နစ်ကြောင်း နင့် မှီးခို ဝါကျ): She goes to the store every day, but if it rains, she does't go there.
Sentence and Clause ဝါကျမကြီး လွတ်လပ်ဝါကျ နင့် မှီးခိုဝါကျ
မိမိအတွေးကို အစမှ အဆုံး ထိဖေါ်ပြသည့် ဝါကျကို ဝါကျမကြီး Sentence လို့ခေါ်ပါသည်။ ဝါကျမကြီးများကို clause ခေါ် ဝါကျငယ်များဖြစ်တည်ဆောက်သည်။ ဝါကျ ငယ်အမျိုးစား နစ်မျိုးရှိသည်။ လွတ်လပ်ဝါကျ Independent Clause နင့် မှီးခို ဝါကျ Depedent Clause ဖြစ်သည်။ လွတ်လပ် ဝါကျ Independent Clause သည် မိမိဘာသာ ရပ်တည်ရသည့် အတွက် ဝါကျမကြီး Sentence လို့ခေါ်သည်။ အဲ့တော့ ဝါကျလို့ပဲ မြန်မာလို ရေးဖူးရမှတ်သာပြီး ဝါကျ အမျိုးစား နစ်မျိုးရှိသည် ဟုမှတ်ယူရပါမည်။ လွတ်လပ်ဝါကျ နင့် မှီးခို ဝါကျဖြစ်သည်။
ဝါကျအမည် လေးမျိုးနင့် ဝါကျတည်ဆောက်ပုံလေးမျိုး
ဝါကျအမျိုးမည် လေးမျိုးရှိသည်။ အမေး၊အဖြေ၊ အံဪ၊ နင့် မိန့်ပေး တောင်းဆို ဝါကျဟုခေါ်သည်။ ဝါကျတည်ဆောက်ပုံ လေးမျိုးရှိသည်။ လွတ်လပ်ဝါကျ တစ်ကြောင်း တည်ဖြစ် တည်ဆောက်ထားသည့် Simple Sentence ဝါကျ၊ လွတ်လပ်ဝါကျနစ်ကြောင်းနင့် တည်ဆောက်ထားသည့် Compound Sentence ပေါင်းစပ် လွတ်လပ် ဝါကျ၊ လွတ်လပ်ဝါကျတစ်ကြောင်းနင့် မှီးခို ဝါကျ အနဲဆုံ တစ်ကြောင်းပါသည့် Complex Sentence ရှုပ်ထွေး ဝါကျ၊ နင့် လွတ်လပ်ဝါကျ နစ်ကြောင်း နင့် မှီးခိုးဝါကျ တစ်ကြောင်း ပါသည့် Compound-Complex ပေါင်းစပ် ရှုပ်ထွေး ဝါကျ စုစုပေါင်း လေးမျိုးဖြစ်သည်။
ဝါကျ တည်ဆောက်ပုံ လေးမျိုးခွဲခြာပြီး အင်္ဂလိပ်မြန်မာ နစ်ဘာသာဖြစ်တွဲဖြေပေးပါ။
1) Our actions have consequences in our future lives.
