My comment from last year’s 2021 Grammys. History repeats itself for BTS this year. BTS was ignored at the Grammys 2020, despite the fact that ”Map of the Soul: Persona” had the 3rd bestselling album in the world 2019, and litterally out-sold all the other artists that were nominated for ”Album of the year”. It dosen’t matter that BTS isn’t American and doesn’t sing in English, if looking back on all non-Americans. Puerto Rican Luis Fonci’s (born 1978) Spanish ”Despacito” was totally embraced by the Grammys. Enrique Iglesias sings fully in Spanish too. For Grammys 2021, BTS finally got a nomination in the category ”Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” (but was scandalously snubbed on the win). Although they boys were ecstatic, people agreed they deserved nominations in more categories. They had the bestselling album 2020 in S.Korea, Japan, USA and the entire World (!) with masterpiece ”Map of The Soul: 7”, and really deserved a nomination in the ”Album of the year” category. BTS has quality and artistery on all levels, which alot of people in the Western and European music industry refuse to accept or admit. BTS is the first Korean-act in history to get a nomination, and the first to perform at the Grammys in 2020, even though BTS was only ”back-up” for Lil Nas X. For this year’s Grammys 2022, BTS once again got ONLY ONE nomination, and in the same category as last year ”Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” for Butter. However, unbelievably and scandalously the Scammys had the nerve to insult BTS by snubbing them on the win two years in a row. BTS hands down deserved To win in that ”tiny” and Only category they’re nominated in. Besides, I can’t believe how their masterpiece ”BE” didn’t even get a nomination for Album of the year. There’s no logic reason or excuse for Scammys to ignore and snub BTS anymore. They’ve been using BTS for views and attention, without any intention ever to reward them with the Grammys they so deserve. The performances this year were amazing! Silk, Bts, etc. My issue is with top music music of year being blocked once again. Grammys need to go further with changes & take voting from individuals and do it by the numbers. Only way to stop the bs! The payoffs, backdoor deals & hate still prevail! Yet another disappointment.

Just to educate all who are amazed how the Grammy performances change this year is because it was the BTS production team who conceptualized, designed and choreographed almost ALL the performances except for Justine Beiber who is not willing to rehearsed before the actual performance so his performance was the only one that has minimal effects if you noticed. All the other performers are part of the ARMY of BTS so they let the BigHit production team design and choreographed their performances so as not to look like trash when compared to BTS performance that is Incomparable. All the background effects, lightning, music, outfit changes and movements of the performers including their backups in the stage and camera shots should be precised and rehearsed multiple times until it's Perfect! which is the BTS Standard. That is why they are already Global Superstars even before their AMA debut in 2017. The producer of both AMA and BMA came to know this when they won their 1st Top Social Artist in BMA in 2017 so they were able to perfom at the AMA 2017 even if they are not nominated for any category which is the 1st time in the history of AMA. Since then they have a partnership that's why if you noticed since 2017 the AMA and BMA production has improved Big Time. Just an FYI, Music Award giving bodies in Asia like the MMA, MAMA and MGA cannot be compared to the Americas Music giving bodies because ASIA is already in the future since 2014 when BTS performed their award winning hits, whch by the way they ALWAYS WIN almost if not All the categories they are nominated. So if you noticed they are already used to receiving an award and delivering a speech. Back in the days, you will see them shocked and crying including their leader RM when they deliver their speech in their native Korean language. Now the 5 members except RM and Suga prepares and memorized what they are going to say in English just in case they win. RM will ask them in Korean what they wanted to say then RM will translate it in English for them, they are like kids being taught by their Dad. They will memorized and practice multiple times in front of RM while they are doing their make up time preparing for the red carpet until they were able to say the whole sentence and pronouce all the english words correctly, they will not stop until RM gives his approval. This includes what they want to say in English during interviews in the red carpet just in case it was asked by the interviewer. That's why they answer right away in english when the question was tramslated to them by RM, and they are encouraged by him to speak what the members prepared. So if you noticed RM answers the hard questions. He will only translate in Korean if he knows that the members can give their inputs especially J-Hope and Suga who only answers in Korean. He doesn't have time to study English as he is contented speaking and producing music in Korean. Almost all their full English songs are written by RM, except Make it Right and Permission to Dance which is both composed by Ed Sheeran. Boy with Love and My Universe is a joint collaboration with Halsey and Coldplay which became Big Hits because it was sang by BTS. But as what many critics have said, does Grammy deserves BTS? after they snub BTS for 2years in a row? Because they don't want to recognized and accept the fact that Asians are now the Leaders and not Americans anymore. They only use BTS so people will watch The Grammy. They just nominated BTS in 1 minor award so the ARMY around the world will wait for hours and anticipate the win, which they definitely don"t want to give recognition to. But as we all know, if there is an artist worthy to be nominated in the major categories it's definitely BTS. Who revolutionized the Music industry in all aspect and proven that difference in language cannot be a hindrance to produce a meaningfull, beautiful and a Big hitsong, such as My Universe by Coldplay and BTS which is a testimony to it. Two different continents and diffent languages, but was able to transcend the same message of Love and Positivity. So if just in case they nominate BTS next year, let's just wait if they will still accept the invitation, because they don't need an award anymore. What they have done to all the ARMY in all parts of the world thru their music is more than a trophy from Grammy.😂 If BTS declines the invitation next year, I think maybe it's the end of relevance of a Grammy award.
