A lot of people compare this to 80s city pop, but it sounds more like 90s smooth jazz to me. That bassline is distinctively 90s.

It's japanese Fusion Jazz. The soundtrack was produced by members of the band T-Square.

@@BarrowX It's not fusion jazz. The Cyanite music analyzer AI says it sounds more like smooth jazz, and to be honest, I agree with that.

Am I the only person who thinks EUR/USA soundtrack rocks and JPN sucks? EUR/USA version much better reflects the spirit of the automotive game.
