We're not that far! A developer that; I think they prefer to remain anonymous now, showed that they managed to access to the 3D models of the game, that means that they can change them, but not edit or add new ones I believe

Answer to FAQ: Adding new cars is not possible and seems like will be like that for a long time. Please dont ask anymore :)

I'm glad you're able to figure it out, i'm impressed. But i think it would be better if the main logo was the '03-'05 version with the swoosh (since GT4 did come out in 2004/5) and that it would be in the same size as the other logos in the showroom.

can't wait for an event maker, although there isnt a lot of space in the map, but you can probably place something in the middle of the Germany/Endurance/Early 90s icons, one between Spain/France/Home/License Tests, something in between Netherlands/Sweden, and in the middle of Jukebox/Early 90s/Driving Park

I know this is still WIP but do take note most of GT4's icons and logos are slightly blurred and desaturated to keep in line with the soft look of the UI, technic-wise damn this is impressive, like dark magic

It is possible to add cars removed from the previous version GT3 and GTC, for example: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.VII Rally Car, and brands not annexed in the later GTPSP version for example Ferrari and Lamborghini

the formats have changed so its impossible. funnily, you cant even port a car from GT4 First Preview which is released 3 months earlier than GT4.

The biggest blue balls I ever got when I got a ps3 in 07 was the concept of Granturismo HD there were meant to be 2 versions of the game HD premium and HD classic premium actually kind of exists it’s what the install disc actually was meant to be and classic was…well THIS ALL OF THIS

for race cars? hell no. but the data i use lets you slide more. its even easier to lose the rear under braking with CTR Yellowbird :p

i made the stripeless buyable in the dealership as well but they are seperate entries. making such thing is beyond me unfortunately. the way i see for that goes through extensive texture/ color patch editing and currently both are impossible. at least you can buy it in the dealership how you want :)

Fun fact, the stripeless GT is actually different from the regular GT in this game. It has a higher grip modifier.

the folks follow my adventure in discord servers know that i got some more understanding in that recently (the research and mapping were done by Nenkai before) but its a joint effort that we will tackle that aspect. dont expect too much though because its tedious ahh

1:13 Not too big of a fan of this change in my opinion, because in the vanilla GT4, I usually use these tires on race cars to enter them in races where Standard or Sports tires are only allowed.

Two reasons for that 1- where do race cars use normal tyres 2- i dont want people to cheese events by picking such tyres for those events. players should beat ai fair and square. these modifications wont change the main aim of difficulty :p *and ive saved 60kb in 2 database tables

Nendrak [i forgot the name] managed to replace the GT3 logo gold medal with Maxwell the Cat, but i'm unsure if new stuff can be added [it would be like old NFS car mods where you can only replace cars and not add new ones, but nowadays you can]

@@hatersbby The future is bright thought, imagine if we somehow could import bikes from tourist trophy with the driving psychics into GT4, it would be hell of a blast to play!
