@Mnono Dzilala Thank you! Gran Turismo expanded my horizons in so many ways growing up. To give a little further elaboration for you and whoever May read this... I grew up barely knowing my father, but what little I did know of him, was that he was part of the F.O.I., the details of which I won't delve into, save to say that they are an extremely militant black extremist organization. I spent a good portion of my life being taught to Harbor and hone distrust and suspicion of all "white people" in general. It wasn't until I was a manager for meals on wheels, that an elderly white man shared his avid passion for Gran Turismo A-Spec with me, during one of my meal runs, then I truly understood that regardless of the differences between us, we could relate on a fundamental level through something as simple as a racing simulator. When I say this IP moves me on an ethereal level, it is not hyperbole LOL. This game help to shatter the cultural box I was placed in like a thermonuclear device in a janitorial closet! Didn't mean to get so long-winded, but I just wanted to share some good energy in a seemingly good comment thread.

I’m an aspiring game dev so seeing how big of an impact it had/has in your life is really motivating. that’s exactly the type of experiences I want to give to others. Short story I moved from Africa at a young age, wasn’t able to understand the culture and found it hard to make friends. but I was able to because of the neighborhood kids all getting together to play games since not everyone had their own consoles.

Forza Horizon 5 already blows this game out of the water in terms of graphics. Forza Motorsport will look even better. GT7 looks like a boring PS4 game

@@saubaur1 Hey I was an Xbox fan back in my days and My friend had the PS3 i was still living with my mother she only could buy one console for me i had the 360 i never play on PS before until my friend got the PS3 started going to his house to play PS3 games and that’s how i fall in love with PS exclusive so when the PS4 came out and i got older i started working and got myself my first PS console the PS4 i fall in love even more with all the PS exclusive And that is my reason i went and got a PS5 because all those exclusive i will never buy a console just to play one game and i first got the series S before the PS5

The only incentive I had to buy the PS5 was this game too, but when they made it available for PS4 I absolutely stopped carrying about the PS5, way too expensive and honestly I don’t mind them degrading the game, I only wanted them to bring back gt mode.

GT and Forza both are awesome in their own way. I preordered GT7 for the PS4 Pro, but with the PS5 version so when I finally get a PS5 I can play it on that.

@@darkmaster2887 'For years' as in since the release of GT Sport. The PS3 games, although having lots of problems weren't that bad (and those are the ones I grew up with). The PS2 games are still perfect and the PS1 games were groundbreaking for their time.

If GT Sport was a proper GT game, it would have been called GT7

@@deadbeef576 GT Sport was a proper GT game, the only reason it wasn't called that is because it didn't have a standard campaign. It was treated by Polyphony as a main game and it is the only Gran Turismo game that was ever released specifically for the PS4, so it is a main game. It is also considered a main game on Wikipedia. And yes, I wish it weren't a main game.

Who knows could happen eventually lots of other games came to pc from Playstation. You can already run emulators and play previous gran turismo games. Give it some more time and a ps5 emulator will eventually release also. I'm psyched to play it tomorrow night will be pulling an all nighter on my ps5 pre-ordered the 25th anniversary edition!

especially as none of us can possibly know if we'll even be able to access the game at all if the systems in place that authenticate don't exist. I mean they could patch it when servers do eventually get pulled but we don't know they will. The argument is that everyone has internet but that's not even the point when the issue is that it doesn't matter if you have internet or not at that stage. Goodbye game

@@SakuraGundamR34 yeah but that's a different thing. I play Halo online for example and know that one day I wont be able to in the same way. That's to be expected by it's nature. I can still play the single player and custom as well. People like multiplayer for what it allows but people also like single player. The issue that one day people wont be able to play their single player campaign of GT7 is a problem for many and when people finally realise this, it will be too late

There is but it's optional similar to gt6

-it will almost certainly be like GT sport. You don't have to use real money to unlock cars. You can just buy them with in game credits like any other car. You *can* buy them for real money if you want but you absolutely don't need too. GT has always been pretty good about MTX and DLC -nobody knows the differences. PD says there are none because the game scales very easily. Who knows if that's true. -every major wheel and accessories will work fine.

@@AD-df5tm Thanks for info. Most PS4 games except dirt 2. Dirts 2 did see my g29 wheel and TH8A, (using PS4 two USB ports) but all other games seem only see wheel and not my shifter.

@@SireDragonChester Dirt 2 worked fine with my T500 but oddly enough Dirt 5 for Ps5 doesn't recognize my T500rs at all. It's the Only game I have ever had a problem with in 10+ years. GT sport recognizes my TH8 shifter just fine so I woildn6 worry about GT7.

Yes you will. The always online function just verifies your save/game data. They can do that without the servers. When they shut down the servers (which won't be for like 7 or 8 years AT LEAST) they will still allow the game to verify or just disable the need for it to be verified. You just won't be able to play online multiplayer anymore because that is what the servers are actually for. There are dozens (hundreds?) Of always online games that still are playable years and years after their release. Assassin's Creed II was released in 2009 and it's still playable today despite being "always online" and It didn't even have servers to begin with (because it doesn't have multiplayer). People complaining about a game being "always online" are so ridiculous.

GT A Spec was simply Amazing, especially for that time period.

Check out Grid legends. While it is a totally different style of racing game. It has a lot of content right out of the gate, and the racing is fun. Definitely not a simulator though.

I’d actually prefer it was more difficult than GT sport, I hate the way forza and GT did a bit in sport just handed you free stuff all the time. I loved in GT 5&6 that you start right at the bottom and work your way up. You don’t get handed a lambo and a million credits right away

Easy... Have both options that way everyone is happy! Either pick extreme grind, true to life experiences or pick casual yet still has a solid challenge. Not everyone has the time to put in to unlock all their favorite cars, and other's play 24/7 and love the grind. Just have options for both.

Silverstone was in Gran Turismo 6. Sport wasn't a full GT.

Car manufacturers don't really like their cars to be damaged, so it'll be like every other gt. This is a game for those that can drive anyway, so no visual car dmg should occur anyways :)

Noppe, theyr will be mecanical damage...i hate it for example in Formula 1 games. Let me give you an example, i was driving in first place one round for the finnish, some guy drive in my car my wheel broke of...end of race. I had to start all over again...fuck that.... I'am glad that GT dont have that shit...
