If you haven't done it yet, let me know. I might be able to give you some pointers that could help you out. This is the toughest race in all of the solo events. Especially since the BoP update that doesn't allow for any tuning whatsoever. There's a lot of tips this guy mentions that really work well. Especially when entering turns, if you can down shift into 1st at the last second and quickly back into 2nd, that'll certainly help get the car rotating well, and then up into 3rd before doing the hard accelerating. I had to start the race with my break bias at 2(to the rear) and traction control at 1. About lap 7 or 8 I needed to bump the traction control up to 2 because the tires were worn enough that I started losing grip. The final chicane before the long stretch, I was able to enter in 4th gear and leave in 4th gear. Maybe half the time I dropped into 3rd gear for just a second to help get the car to rotate, but was always going fast enough to accelerate in 4th gear coming out of there. That final chicane was where I made most my passes, or gained distance on the cars behind me. Good luck man

By the way, I used the Toyota supra concept car. Not the Supra VGT car. With the BoP update, this car has the most power, and plenty of torque to accelerate in these higher gears from lower RPM.

Plan to try tonight with the Gr 3 911. Problem for me is breaking into the first corner. The camber is weird there so the car wants to jump left under breaking and then it’s like a wild bull trying to get it pointed straight again. Hoping the braking point reference helps there.
