I know this is far late but, I joined a GT5 lobby from Japan as I was looking for a GT500 race that isn't really hosted outside of the Japanese lobbies, came in with a Denso Sard Supra, after moving through the positions and coming into first place and a fierce head-on we hit the last turn which lead to a straight, the guy behind me had me on the straights and we were side by side for that finish, he was gaining on me inch by inch for every grueling second of that race, I didn't know if I was going to win it at that point and just held the gas and closed my eyes, won by less then a tenth of a second, I'll never forget that race. You make me really wanna pick this series back up again man, truly.

Reminds me of the titanic battles I had with the most elite of drivers back on PS3's GT5. I don't know how many of your viewers realise this but what we just witnessed here is 2 drivers on the limit of the games physics. It takes a highly skilled driver to recognise another contemporary of the same calibre. Doesn't matter who won here because when it's this evenly matched and it takes the thinnest of margins to make the difference then both are ultimately winners. Superb effort.

Absolute phenomenal amount of respect shown throughout, but that last bit of the chicane where you just take him on the outside. He absolutely could have punted you but he gave you space knowing he made just a tiny mistake. My word, well done to both of you.
