Not fully satisfied with the result, I dropped a lot of combos at the end and missed one of my Setsuna too, but I don't think I'll do more Narmaya run in the demo, it's time to try out other characters!
Below is the same Narmaya guide I wrote in the previous video's description:
Narmaya has two stances, Dawnfly (we’ll call it pink stance from now on) and Freeflutter. (purple stance) When you’re in different stances, both your normal attacks and your skills will perform differently; you can use the triangle button to switch between stances. She also has another mechanic that when doing certain attacks she’ll gain a butterfly up to a maximum of 6. The butterflies then get consumed when she use a skill and boost that skill based on the numbers of butterflies you have at the time.
There are the following ways to get butterflies:
1. Fully charging her pink stance normal attack gives 1 butterfly, she’ll do a special sheathing animation afterward and if you hit triangle at the right time she’ll do a perfect stance switch attack and gains 1 more butterfly.
2. The last hit in her purple stance normal attack string gives 1 butterfly, she’ll do a special sheathing animation afterward and if you hit triangle at the right time she’ll do a perfect stance switch attack and gains 1 more butterfly.
3. Doing her full aerial normal x 3 into triangle combo gives 1 butterfly on the last hit.
4. After you perform a link attack, you can switch stance immediately after and get a perfect stance switch attack that gives you 1 butterfly. This is especially useful when you are in pink stance and want to switch back to purple without doing her charged slash.
5. I’m not sure if this gives butterfly or not but when you use a skill when Narmaya is doing her special sheathing animation, you’ll get the same flash as if you did as if you performed a perfect stance switch, since the butterfly get consumed when you used the skill I’m uncertain whether doing this gives you 1 more butterfly to that particular skill you used or not.
Now the above mostly are are the things that are mentioned in the game but here are some things I’ve discovered that they didn’t mention:
1. after a stance switch attack her next pink stance normal attack charge time and her purple stance normal attack string will be either sped up and shortened allowing for faster rotation.
2. After using a skill, you get the same shortcut effect as performing a perfect stance switch, meaning the normal attack you do following a skill will be sped up/shortened as well
3. If you dodge out of her perfect stance switching attack the shortcut effect for the following normal attack will be retained so don’t be afraid to dodge while she’s in that animation since it’s pretty long
