When you fought him, he gave impression that he did not shrug off blows, but got off on them. Sodomy comment was related to his quote addressed to another guy, Rackam, during first fight against him. His nickname by most of crew is Pervert Angel.

Not gonna lie, I know NOTHING about the series as a whole (this game was my only exposure to it), but the whole story I couldn’t help but root for Belial. He’s just so stylish and charismatic. Gives off Dio vibes in that sense. And I’m hoping he’s isn’t actually dead so I can whoop Bubs lame ass with him. Edit: I’ve just caught up on the bonus RPG Mode levels and he and Bubs are still alive, so sweet sweet revenge shall come soon.

God, I didn't think I'd care at all about Belial coming out. But after watching this trailer, if Aliza doesn't get in, I might be playing a ton of Belial. I don't know what it is, but I love his moveset and aesthetic. I'll still try everyone, but damn, I'm surprised how much he reeled me in.

This trailer is pretty funny. Most of the time that should be spent showing off Belial is idle animation or walking. Then there is the surprise character in the end that shows within like 10 seconds and the audio/jingle cuts off so awkwardly.

The online wasn't (and it isn't in some situations) too hot when the game came out, which caused some people to bash it quite a bit, damaging it's reputation right from the get go. Then the pandemic happened, and for the next few years good online netcode became a necessity for a fighting game to even survive, and since this one didn't have the best online experience, it all but killed the hype for what would've otherwise been a great and beloved fighting game with a thriving community. There's still some people playing it tho, and from what I've seen, the community makes up for it's small size by being generally welcoming and nice to new players.

Tbh it could celebrate a great comeback during evo this year if: -They announce rollback -next character -and a sale at the same time

@@0685ukoM to be honest, majority of the gbf playerbase only play this as 2nd game. Mostly people play the gacha game not versus. I mean look at bonus costume by purchasing this, most people only bought versus to get the costumes lmao.

But anyway, never saw it coming that this would reveal my top 2 favorite GF characters at the same time. Now as long as Beatrix or Vira don't enter the picture, this season will be 10/10. I will also be very surprised if Sandalphon doesn't come since he's so popular and there's already Beelzebub, Belial and mention of Lucifer in the game.
