Once again mike, your videos are so informative, your honesty is what Lorraine and I really like, we love Cuba and the people, our last trip there, on our way to lunch one of the gardeners called us over and put a beautiful flower in Lorraine’s hair, and he made me a grasshopper out of leafs, which I put in my cap, turns out he was an older gentlemen and probably never gets any tips, needless to say later that week I gave him some things for his young son, and ten dollars, he started to cry and we made a friend we hope to see again, this was on cayo Santa Maria, again your videos are the best for people wanting to go to Cuba, thank you so much

Was there June 2023 Beautiful place very clean room and the bed is very comfortable. People are nice and friendly. Only problem with mosquitos

Your channel is so refreshing we love to see those beach walks. We were big Cuba fans until we discovered a little spot in the jungle in Mexico....have to say its our home away from home....love the Cuban people and the beaches are amazing...maybe one day we will go back we just can't seem to get enough of our number one in Mexico...all the best!...viv

I stayed at this resort in April and had an absolutely fabulous time. I didn’t upgrade. I had a beautiful ocean view room. The staff was friendly and the beach was beautiful. Will visit again.

You're right. We were in Holguin March 23-30 2024, and WOW was it ever windy. Was great though; we didn't sweat to death like we normally do!

Thanks for another great video Mike!! That upgrade sure looks like good value for the dollar. What a great view out of your room. The beach walking looks unlimited and very private. There are so many great resorts to choose from in Cuba it is hard to choose one but you make it much easier with your reviews. Take care and I look forward to your next video!!!

Well it depends on the season and timing!!! The upgrade was a bit pricey but worth it!!! I think it’s cheaper now!!! But then it’s almost June

Wooooooooooooo like always you made my saturday very happy listen all the waves of the beach beautiful and better with that cerveza . Thanks again for the video the hotel really look very good i will go to Cayo Paredon and Cayo Cruz all new hotels but the best is the beach where you can walk kilometres and kilometres ..but for me is tooooo hot this months waiting for fall or winter when in Canada is really cold . Fantastic looking resort. Definitely will visit on our next Cuba trip. (We were at Melia Cayo Coco our last two trips to Cuba). Are all the Club rooms ocean view? What was your room # and is there a buffet restaurant in the Club section? Cuba has always been our #1 vacation destination. Beautiful video. Thanks Mike

Morning Mike! Another great vid! We are looking to visit this place or the vila gale cayo paradon at the end of this month. Going to book last minute to be sure the weather is decent as its hurricane season lol. When you book last min how many days do you book out prior to flying out? Thanks and keep it up!

Remember in Low season!!! When the plane fills up deals are over!!! Fewer flights so flights can fill fast!!! When I book I mayb 2-5 days in advance but I constantly keep looking, I’ve missed out to many times this year but of sell outs

This place looks really nice. I love the room. I feel like a lot of places are renovating (at least from what I see in your videos). The seagulls! They are so much cleaner looking in Cuba lol. The beach looks pretty nice. Do you prefer the water when it's calm or wavy? Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to the next video!

Thanks for watching! I love The Calm Ocean!!! With some waves!!! When the Ocean is Calm the Water Colour becomes more Vibrant!!! But With the Wind it keeps the Flys and Bugs Away!! Segals are Super White In Cuba!!!! Uber Clean!!!!lol

Deals are now!!! When it comes to July, prices may go up closer you get or will sell out!!! Once the plane is full the deal is done!!!! Remember that!!! It’s low season and planes are still filling up I’m in Varadero right now and the plane is Full

My wife and I also buy the upgrade when we book from here in Toronto, other times we book regular room and take our chances and ask for FREE upgrade when we get there. For the most part it works out. We were at the Grand Aston Varadero 2 weeks in February, and at Sanctuary Grand Memories Holguin in March. See you in Cuba, or at YYZ one of these days. Cheers!
