Grand Canyon by Helicopter from Vegas... Is it worth doing?

3 жыл бұрынWe booked a helicopter to land in the #GrandCanyon to see its beauty. What an amazing experience. The flight was about 35 minutes there and we spent about 30 min walking around and 45 min flight back.

We were at the Grand Canyon back in September and hiked into the canyon 2 miles and back. I did it with my wife and two kids. My older son fought cancer from 7-11 and now is 13 and I got so emotional on the way out of the canyon walking alongside my oldest son who I had almost lost to now hiking the Grand Canyon. This was a great adventure. My recommendation to anyone is you never know when life can drastically change so don’t wait and go do. Doesn’t matter what it is just do it.

To think u got to go and actually touch and walk on the bottom of the Grand Canyon. A lot will never get to see it even from the rim. U were both in awe. Such a transpiring video.

We’ve been twice. Once to the west rim and once to the south. I’m not a spiritual person but both times a humble glow came over me. Are any of us worthy of such splendour.❤️

Amazing. I had a niece that guided the canyon tours in rafts. Should have done it when she still did it. Who the heck gave you a thumbs down. Boo. Was a great video. God is good when it comes to landscapes.

Challenge accepted Shelia!!! My bother did a 10 day trip back when he graduated high school. It was one of the highlights of his very short life. He passed at the age of 38. It’s on my bucket list. His stories were so awesome!!! I’ll go with you!!!

Years ago I and my parents visited my aunt, uncle, and 6 yo cousin in Phoenix. We scheduled a trip to the Grand Canyon. When my cousin asked his father what it was, my uncle wryly said, “just a hole in the ground.” So when I asked my cousin what he wa going to do when he got to the canyon, he said, “Stick my foot in it!” It’s a marvelous sight at 30,000 feet too.

My 2 brothers are doing a 7 day rafting trip in June. Cost is nearly $4000 and that doesn't count getting to Vegas. So guess they are just doing half the river. Love your videos!

Amazing trip - seeing the Grand Canyon by helicopter is on my bucket list. We've watched the sunset from the Grand Canyon Nat'l Park (not far from the hotel) - it was amazing! Will have to get back to see it from the air some day! It's also on my bucket list to go on a guided river tour by raft (where you spend the night at least twice on your way down), but it sounds like I'd better put myself on the waiting list now! Good times - thanks for sharing your visit with us! Safe travels!

Oh, oh ,oh....we gotta heli fly over the canyon too! If the friggin borders ever open up again 😕. Did Niagra Falls in a heli years ago, on the Canadian side, it’s so cool from the sky too. 10 year waiting list for kayaking the canyon 😳, lol, well it just may move up faster as people change their desires and contact info, (forgetting who they gave it too). We went thru Arizona...by suv😅😂🤣 and saw a mule train coming back from the bottom! We got to see the sun come up and the sun go down on the Grand Canyon! What beauty!!!!!
