Was there in July of 1989 at 10 to 15,000 CFS. A very different river from this. But we never had the cameras you have now. Just film in waterproof cameras.

GREAT video; quality, clarity, no music, no BS. How did you arrange to capture camera views stabilized and from 'on high'? Seems like it was on a pole above and behind the boatman based on the impact/harmonics (shudder) of what I assume was the pole. Regardless, well done.

I used an Insta 360 X3 camera mounted on a PVC pole mounted using an umbrella holder behind the dry box I am sitting on. The Insta software automatically stabilizes to the horizon.
