Clu's voice is the most menacing voice I've ever heard.

I actually really like this ending. Knowing the outcome with Tron: Legacy makes the ending of Tron: Uprising all the more bittersweet. To think that CLU's military closes in just as the resistance is properly formed, and knowing from Legacy that only Bartik survived, leaves a lot of horrific scenes to the imagination. I like it. It would have been great to get another season, but I like the implications of this ending a lot more.

The ending line hits me so hard. I have so much respect for anyone who worked on this. One of the best animated shows I've seen.

Clu: Good. Amazing that one word with the right music can send chills up your spine...

So much wasted potential without a second season -Tron and Dyson’s rematch -Paige’s redemption arc -Paval’s descent into madness -The Revolution’s beginning and development -Zed and Mara’s relationship -Tron succumbing to his repurposing -Beck vs Clu -The Revolution’s loss Any maybe a third season taking place after “Tron: Uprising”. Clu is gone, as is the government, but Tron has returned, and now he and whatever is left of the Revolution has to try to retain order in the Grid

This show ended when I was about 8-9, many shows I liked were cancelled back then but none pissed me off as much as this one, about six years later and I still have to pause and settle my anger towards Disney for leaving the most anticipated scene in the whole series at the very end.

This deserves 2, 3, and 4 seasons. These programs deserve freedom after they all been through

I have to say it was awesome for everyone to stand up for Beck, but a stupid way to end such a great series. CLU arriving in Argon. They could've had at least one maybe two more episodes as an actual finale. Or another season instead of ending this show for STAR WARS REBELS!!! I mean COME ON!!! That show replaces this. I am so disappointed.

One of the few moments in television history where this one sees a great evil appearing, the others being Moriarty's return in Sherlock, and Davros in Doctor Who, and this one whispers fearfully "God help us!" Having Daft Punk's theme for CLU makes the scene all the more terrifying, and given Tesler's own look of fear in recognition, things are very grim for Argon City and Beck.

I really wish that there would've been another season or two. Ironically though, if they knew prematurely that they were going to get cancelled, they could've actually end the series right here, with the main difference being that Beck ISN'T able to save Tron from becoming Rinzler, and that Beck would lead the revolution as Tron by name only.

One of the best series ever created. Lance Henrikson did a phenomenal job with tesler. Clu intro is ominous.

Well i just wish they did one more season or a movie of it to close the story it was a great show but why did they have to end it a Cliffhanger Come on Disney we want the story to end the right way not this way

If you ask me the next TRON Movie should have Sam returning to the Grid to clean up the damage CLU left over, and team up with Beck, they could have a flashback of what happened after this scene, a bit before Edward Dillinger JR uploads the new MCP Program, and old Cillian Murphy can portray his Grid Ego Sark 2. Hey and perhaps Sam can make a new CLU 3 to assist and stuff. (Heh I need to stop watching TV)

Anyone come back to this after years

if i were to imagine what would have happened if season 2 happened, at first it seems to imply that the uprising still would live even in the movie, but during certain moments, we see Tron ever so slowly start to turn, certain scenes would happen in the middle or at the end of a few episodes with Tron getting a Headache or his color's Flicker, ill even believe paige soon learns about how her life was a lie and before she can get reperpoused, Beck saves her and asks her to join, other stuff happens but its the two part ending of Season 2 that tells it all, the Revolution fails and most of the programs, specificually Beck, Paige, Mara and Zed with a few other programs who survive leave to find some form of safety, say Beck had one last fight against Tron, to try and snap him out of it and come back, only for Beck to be badly damaged, gaining Scars that would never Heal, just like Tron before him, and for the Final Scene that takes place a few Day's later, the Flynn's Building Suddenly Lights Up and we see Sam Flynn rush out like in the near beginning of the Tron Legacy Movie, with the Scene ending with Sam saying "Oh man this is happening" before cutting to Black, ending the Season and Series

You show and awesome series and you leave us with a massive cliffhanger!? What kind of network are you running!?

If a Season 2 were to happen, I'm pretty sure the most logical conclusion for its events would be that Tron and Beck try to rally Argon City against Clu, but are ultimately crushed by his overwhelming power and superior numbers. This results in Beck's deresolution and Tron becoming Rinzler, perhaps by being captured and repurposed by Clu, or some other sort of method we don't know of that brainwashes him. Honestly, it would only make sense if Beck is derezzed, because Uprising came out after Legacy, so at some point, I realized that many characters in Uprising will probably just get derezzed. After all, it would cause fallacies in the plot if they were to survive. As for minor characters like Mara and Zed, they could likely end up derezzed too, but they could still live because they don't hold enough influence and raw talent individually to make any significant change. For other things, I believe at some point Paige would finally discover the truth about what happened to her friends and join Beck's side in the fight against Clu, but she would, unfortunately, end up derezzed alongside Beck. If she doesn't end up derezzed, she could come out of it too damaged and broken to do anything, or simply go into hiding and want nothing to do with rebellion against Clu any longer due to her becoming traumatized by seeing Clu's power and despicable actions firsthand. We just know that it's gonna end badly for everyone given the fact that Tron ends up as Rinzler in Legacy. One thing is certain at least, while the uprising in Argon ultimately gets stamped out and the ones holding the torch (Tron and Beck) are defeated, the uprising does leave a seed of hope fostered in the masses that carries on into Legacy. While Beck and Tron don't succeed at defeating Clu, they are able to show at least to the programs of the Grid that it still is possible to stand up to his tyranny. This was a possibility that was never considered before, and Beck and Tron's efforts were at least able to let them become aware of Clu's corrupt rule instead of ignoring him and bringing more opportunities to rebel against him in the future. The characters Bartik and Hopper are the results of this, as they are actually seen in Legacy talking to Castor at the End of Line Club, trying to get support from Zuse for a rebellion against Clu. This is a huge change from how they were in Uprising, where they served as minor antagonists. TL;DR: Uprising will probably just end very tragically with Beck (and possibly Paige, Mara and Zed) getting derezzed and Tron repurposed as Rinzler, but it's still a "light in the dark" situation that shows that Tron and Beck's efforts to incite revolution were not entirely fruitless. Even though they fail, they're able to show programs that they are capable of standing up to Clu, and the sentiment of resistance is always held by the programs all the way into Legacy even though the uprising failed.

Raiding Area 51 was a joke, RAIDING DISNEY'S HQ IS A FACT.

That's a stupid way to end a series! We don't even know what happened to Beck or any of the other characters after Clu comes to Argon!

So the uprising eventually failed, everyone was killed, and Tron was captured and reprogram and became who he is in the movie later on. Well that's a terrible ending, I'm glad season 2 wasn't made so I don't have to see the death of everyone!

Tron uprising was the sh*t we all love

Funny how the Clu in this show looks more like Jeff Bridges than the clu in tron legacy. I guess that's the uncanny valley hard at work......

Such a good show! The show honestly was very clever and really explored the Tron universe. Like in the show we got to find out about stuff like what happens when a persons disc is gone away from them for too long and what do the people do all the time and stuff like is there a car in the universe.

It's sad that this show had to end. But I have a theory of how season 2 would have gone down. So here it is the season begins with CLU really cracking down on Argon city making life for the people there hard he introduces a city curfew and allows his men to search other people homes for any since of the rebellion. Tron now healed has renewed faith in his uprising and slow there number begin to grow. Eventually Zed and Mara join them as well but Beck still keeps his identity from them a secret. Now that Tron is back in good health, he now begins to lead the revolution more while Beck is training takes a back seat and he leads a small team now and then but mostly goes on solo mission where he wears the black Tron suit and Tron keeps the white one. As the season process Beck mission get more and more dangerous to the point where he is fighting Paige, Pavel, General Tesler and Dyson on almost any mission he goes on. Beck is able to get through to Paige to the point where she begins to question working for CLU while General Tesler is derezzed for his many failures without Paige knowing. Pavel is made general for showing off his new super soldier with the upgrade he stole he gives his soldiers less power versions of the upgrade while keeping the real one for himself. However there is a glitch in the programing of the upgrade for the soldiers and they start going berserk and beginning to hard the innocent and some to the point of derezzed. Beck goes to stop this and destroy the upgrade once and for all and with some help from Paige they destroy it while CLU deal with Pavel who challenges him as ruler of the grid believe himself to be more powerful then CLU but CLU is able to defeat him. Now Paige is really starting to question her allegiance and wounder if she could be derezzed so easily despite her loyalty. Beck takes on a mission to investigate the history archives of one of CLU basis hoping to find out the truth about the ISO war and show the people of Argon the truth Paige finding him on his mission and tries to help, wanting to know the truth too. She finds out more than she bargains for finding out about incident when she was a medical program and finds out that General Tesler is died. With this information she is just about ready to leave CLU army. While this has been going on Zed and Mara have been followed Beck still not knowing it's him under the mask and as they spy on him and become more suspicious of his actions they wounder if he is truly loyalty to Tron and the uprising. See him and Paige working together may them fair that Tron right hand is a double agent and they go to confront him about his allegiance . While Tron has been leading the uprising he slowly start to become Rinzler it turns out that even though Beck save him his conversion to CLU side through the reprogramming was only slowed down and not stopped. While meeting with Beck after a mission Tron's new programming takes hold and he begins to fight Beck, does his best to defend himself and almost wins the fight but Zed and Mara come in during the fight and misunderstood the situation they help protect Tron and defeat Beck and knocking him out. Tron quickly leaves them and make his way to CLU head quarters. Zed and Mara unmask Beck and he quickly explains everything that happened over the last two years and how he was the Renegade. With Tron now on CLU side he finish his free programming and give him the name Rinzler. CLU decides that the citizens of Argon know to much and that all must either be reprogrammed and join his army or be derezzed. With Rinzler leading his troop they slow take everyone to be reprogram. The uprising try and fight saving everyone they can while Beck does one last mission he put Zed and Mara in charge of evacuating Argon city and making sure the uprising survive if he doesn't come back. He goes and finds Paige telling her everything and telling her that he believes that doctor Keller could find a way to save Tron. They find Keller and she comes up with a program that could save Tron but his unable to predict how long it would take for Tron to trun back in his normal self it could take months or even years, but Beck is willing to take that change. He tells Paige and Keller to leave Argon with the uprising while he fights Rinzler. Beck dawns the white Tron's suit one more time and load the program to save Tron on to his disc. He goes on to the the streets of Argon while everyone is being dragged away and some of his uprising forces lay on the ground and helping people escape. The people cheer thinking Tron has come to save them and Beck begin to fight Rinzler. The fight is long and hard with both fighting to the point of exhaustion finally Beck see the only way he can win and load the program on to Tron. He runs at Tron while he Dodgers his throwing disc he jumpes on the back of Tron placing his disc on his back and upload the problem and then jump off of him. With the program loading on to Tron Beck believe he's won but Rinzler does not turn back into Tron and he throws Beck own disc in his back derezzing him in the process. After the fight Zed, Mara, Paige, Keller and the fever uprising members go into hiding believing that the program didn't work. However Keller was right and the program was going to work it was just going to take years just as she had thought the programing beginning slowly forced Rinzler to keep both his disc Beck combining them when on his back and taking them apart when he fought. This way the program could work until Tron was back to his old self.It just took till the events of Tron Legacy to finally finish saving him. That's how I believe it would have ended not the nice ending but I would have definitely watch it.

When i watched this season years ago, the moment Clu says 'good' at 2:55, i was so hyped. This needs a worthy ending with a second season. We all know how it sorta plays out because Tron becomes Rinzler. But what happens to Beck? Paige? Pavel? Tessler? Mara? Zeb? I mean come on... It's been years and we still don't know :(. Everytime i rewatch the show, the ending gives me the same feeling, as soon Clu says 'Good..' i get hyped and goosebumps. Such a shame.. :p

I have a theory on what happened after the cliffhanger ending. I believe that when clu, Dyson, and his army arrived at Argon a battle between them and beck ,Mara ,zed ,tron , and everyone else broke out. Resulting in everyone getting derezzed and tron getting repurposed into Rinzler. During the battle beck gets either derezzed or he survives and go into hiding with Mara and zed joining him. I have scenarios on what leads to him getting derezzed (scenario A)or surviving and going into hiding(scenario B). Scenario A becks gets derezzed and tron takes his disc and honors and avenges him by wielding it. Scenario B beck reveals his identity to Mara and zed and knowing they won’t survive if they stay and fight gives tron his disc and he and Mara and zed escape the battle and go into hiding. Regardless of what scenario happens after the battle tron gets captured and repurposed into Rinzler. And tesler, Pavel, And paige either get derezzed by clu and his forces or they survive and continue to rule argon city but with stricter orders and rules by clu. And about what happened to Dyson he most likely got derezzed by tron during the battle since he is not seen or mentioned In tron legacy( and I know he wasn’t a thing back In 2010 I’m just theorizing and speculating Dysons fate). In my opinion and point of view this is my theory on what happens after the ending and how tron became Rinzler and how he got his second disc.
