Here we have a F2P Newt deck that works with a number of legendary cards! You can replace the opaleye with locomotor or dragon egg with great success! Also, you can replace fwoopers with swelling solution it make the deck aggressive.

Good to see a Newt deck may make it to grandmaster. I’m in Diamond now and I’m finding too many counters to my Newt spam. My wins usually count on me getting their Ron with my Ivy and not vanishing the niffler next to Ron instead.

Ya it is tough out there for Newt because of ron and McGonagall! I recommend using crucio if u have it. It helps deal with ron. Without having to depend only on Ivy.

You can switch out opaleye for piertotum to increase tankyness and numbers, and they also counters play like a book straight to your bomb box

I'm with you there! My echo didn't offer a boost for locomotor and it's only level 9 😞so it would have just felt weaken the deck for me.

GM rank(close to MA) newt main here too and i highly recommend minerva at the 2nd slot than the first. The first companion should be something that helps you survive so you could set up like hagrid or cassandra. Main strat is to make sure you get 10 mana, have 3 1 cost cards and an ashwinder in hand before summoning mcgonagall. Mcgonagall, ashwinder and then spam like a madman. That will not only clear the field cause of all the ashwinder eggs but also nearly guarantees the stone knight gets summoned. All while the enemy has to worry about the entire armada he has to go against

im pretty sure minerva should be played last slot, because you get double the mana and you can summon more to keep minerva in the backline

As a Newt main, I always have Inflatus and Sectumsempra in my deck and would interrupt (yeet) one of the opponent from reviving their teammate or immediate death if both are at very low HP. Then again, it depends who I'm partnered with or playing against Anyways, nice showcasing your deck! c:

That avada dobbie build is pretty hard to pull off in my opinion, Idk, if it's not dead center I find it impossible to land it even with a crowd control or hermione straight up sending it to narnia so slower charge, I don't know.. it got me out of some very hard situations buuut I was also pretty lucky. Well my elo is gold so obviously stupid mistakes will be made from the opponents but I still find it very inconsistent sadly like in order to climb after repeatedly win/losing I just went back to bella and nevil

Yeah I use the same deck in all the duels in this video I just changed out the echo. But I am making more videos for more fun decks. If that's what you mean. Sorry I might not have understood the question

Not many good subs for her in a spam deck but Lottie turner helps spam and hagrid is good too! But I would switch lottier or hagrid to the last companion spot!

i use newt deck in duo duel and get slapped pretty hard, specially by those orb of water? is it not good in duo duel?

idk, every echo has advantages and disadvantages, but if you manage everything you can escape anything, and since you are in a duo duel, just bring expulso. edit : always anticipated everything, Learn from your previous match

I dont use it in duo because there is 2 times as much Ron in duo. If you really want to use this deck in duo replace fwoopers with crucio to get rid of ron and McGonagall.

howcome your enemy never has confringo or orb of water to wipe out your entire zoo? Because I also like that "zoo" deck but 1 confringo is enough to close down my zoo business haha

Yeah confringo is a very hard counter for sure! I believe orb of water may have been banned during this time. May have just gotten lucky :)

Not really a lot of the units have too high hp to die to confringo. And then it gets healed up!

@@drinibuzali1289 Neville's echo lets your autos heal if no enemies are in range. And honestly it is a lot of you especially if you play Kevin to boost your autos!
