The artiste's technical mastery at such a young age is commendable. Thanks. He has a long career ahead of him and I dunno what heights he will touch. Though he resorts to some technical gymnastics now and then; this often happens to young artistes who have a lot of Vidvat. Thanks.

Abhishek exercises fair control over the three sthaayees . Has a strong bass voice. Must be careful, however, not to overreach himself in swaraprasthsna. Very sensitive n deft accompaniment by violinist Bhaaskar and mridhangist Satheeshkumaar.

What we can say About this concert ?? Such an enormous control over laya and Raga some can hate Abhishek but I like him very much because he made pallavi into interesting way and I am understanding the pallavi after listening 3rd time that also a little part I understood To understand the whole pallavi how many times I should listen to this concert (Dhenuka) pallavi

i see several commenting about this singer allegedly resorting to gimmicks, showing off, anga seshtai, etc. my suggestion to decide these aspects is "to listen to the audio of the concert without viewing the video, in such areas that prompted you to such views and comments, and see if you still feel so".... chances are, those assessments would be truer, and could be more useful to you.... best wishes.

If overconfidence can be kept at home, Sundarkumar is certainly a wonderful player.... Several places in this thani he failed to deliver and cope up to the mathematics laid out from the start.. I am not disrespecting him at the same time i feel he need to mellow down his overconfidence.. By the way, Patri sir - spontaneous, magical, brilliant!! Harishankar sir can't be compared with anyone... Please, for godsake..

Don't get me wrong, they are all supreme musicians, but I find Abhishek's performance a bit centered around making an impression rather than singing a concert, sounds a bit like he is practicing. Other than that well done!!

@jason dask: totally agree with the part where it feels like abhishek sir is practicing but why is it bad! Personally makes me feel more connected to the artist as an enthusiast. The creativity is just out of this world and the way he's just milked the whole calculation and the ragam is just a treat to watch. And the violinist was nothing short of perfect in "accompanying" the vocalist. And the tonal and calculation profess of patri sir and sundarkumar sir is just amazing.

who is the guy making that disgusting noise at 2:18:57, 2:21:08,2:21:51,2:22:42 ..? He is seen doing his performance in many places before this timeline too. I have heard him in every of Abhishek's concerts... Like fake mourning heard in 'inappropriate' videos. Disgusting and interfering with other people's listening preferences.

@@nanarama4554 Not saying that every musician has to be like that, but there are very few videos of the legendary Carnatic musician Sri Voleti Venkateswarulu Garu on KZfaq. He would BARELY move his head, change his expression, or make any hand gestures.
