Sylvie Guillem is the best. Her body is absolute perfection for a dancer and her grace and her lines are over the moon.

Dronina is like the example of "No,you better don't". Not for her line,not for her at all.

I think comparing Guillem with other ballerinas is mostly a waste of time (sort of like with Baryshnikov, too). They were both way ahead of their time and their delivery, technique, acting and musicality are still unsurpassed, over thirty years later!

Sylvie - a legend. The rest is great but Sylvie was born to dance this piece.

Up to her retirement S.Guillem was the highest payed female ballerina and she is indeed a top performer. However, I wouldn’t dare to diminish or devalue a perfectly danced variation by a prima of Mariinsky, well known for her beautiful long legs, elegance , great technique, great level of confidence based on dancing without mistakes and long hours of practicing. S. Guillem is a legend but Alina Somova is blossoming as principal of Mariinsky and she is incredible and she is absolutely pro and gorgeous in Grand pas classique.

They were all lovely but this variation was made for Guillem. Those feet!

Sylvie is the best, though I've seen her doing much better in this variation, but still the best of the three

Sylvie set the bar high and she did it at the beginning of her career. Imho, she reigns supreme in all that she danced.

Guillem is my favorite (I absolutely love her pointe!) but this really shows how all of these dancers brought their individual perfections to this piece..no doubt! The first one really expressed a unique style. The third one was also beautiful ...a bit more "natural", I thought, but all were fantastic! It's actually difficult to choose! I had the awesome privilege to dance ballet for nearly 20 yrs. Fabulous experience. I wouldn't trade it for the world!

in this video Guillem is very young. There is another one in which she is a few years older, and believe me she is something sublime... thank you for existing ❤️

Silvye Guillem the best ever! stratospheric lines, kilometric legs, exaggeratedly beautiful feet, angelic face, Soft arms in harmony with the perfect body for ballet, perfect interpretation, very clean in the movements, amazing technique! in short: Perfection in ballet is Silvye Guillem 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
