What the hell!? How did I just find this 3 years after it's release?! I am an old time Grandaddy fan from early 2000's and I thought they were done after Fambly Cat breakup. Came here from Sophtware Slump anniversary release news. This is both shocking and exciting to hear a new album from one of the world's greatest bands. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Grandaddy has a history of the world's worse record labels that never spend a dime promoting them like an abusive husband that never believes in his wife's aspirations.

I concur. But on the other hand we're from the music snob days. Cheesy people didn't know of good bands back then and that's how we determined we were cool and they were not.

They were going to put out another album, but sadly their bass player, Kevin Garcia, passed away in 2017 just days before they were going to hit the road in support of this album. I've read that Jason Lytle still wants to put out at least one more Grandaddy album though.
