If you have the gapple arm and the model that upgrade its jump you won't have problems, otherwise, it isn't good

I've killed 2 ghost leviathans in total, Because it almost wrecked my cyclops and prawn, So i can get to the lava zone safely.

Subnautica: must have prawn suit depth 1 to get to nickle ore Also Subnautica: nickel ore required for prawn suit depth 1

You don't need the Prawn suit to get the nickle ore. Just a MK III module for the sea moth and a reinforced dive suit. After you collect enough nickle ore to upgrade the depth module for the prawn suit, then go ahead and bring the prawn down there and harvest big time.

So funny story. I actually entered the lost river and made my outpost not far from the Northern entrance. However I always think of North as "up", so when I saw the map you have in this video I got VERY confused. It actually took me exploring and discovering the Mountain Island entrance that I realized where I was in the grand scheme of things. I also accidentally fell into the area with the kyanite but was freaking out so badly at seeing the warpers and being terrified to lose my prawn suit (I didn't bring the grapple arm for this mission) that I didn't even notice the kyanite. Literally right there on my doorstep.

(03:25) i love this area to build my Lost River base. On your left side you have 3 termal vents close to each other and a nice leveled area to build it! And you are on +/-850mts deepth so thats the perfect place to leave the seamoth to continue the journey with the prawn instead! Normaly i build a base on the entrance that i use to enter to the Lost River and other one in that location that i just told now, and use the seamoth to fast travel from One to the other if i need to...

I’m Surprised you’re not wearing the rebreather at first. Also the standard prawn arm can pick up the small minerals if you unequipped either the drill or the grapple Temporarily. If you do that just make sure you’re out of the green brine when you do

Go to Sea Trader's Path and follow the creatures walking and churning up the shale outcrops. Tons of diamonds, no predators.

@@swarthakar4321 you can find some diamonds on the island to the left of the rescue pod... If you stand on the rescue pod facing the crashed aurora ship, turn left some 90 degrees,, and the are some clouds that look darker on the horizon, go that way, something like 1000 meters, you'll find an island, there search on the shore of the beaches and below sea level, I found a couple of diamonds there,... There are also other materials like lithium if I recall.

I was just down in the areas earlier that you mentioned you built a base before. I tried to build a thermal plant on one of the vents, but it didn't seem to want to place the plant near the vent.

I'm always confused about the brine in these areas. It's said to not go down in these areas without the grapple arm and the drill arm, however neither of those can pick up single pieces. There's single pieces of materials in the brine. You won't be able to pick them up without going into the brine. I just load up on health kits and pick away.

It’s surprising how much material is in there I spent like 5 hours building my base nonstop by taking prawn to nodes and going back and forth building it’s a pain but it’s worth it I’m gonna make top portion all glass.

@@GranddaddyGamer should I make a little of every type of room in there I have like 10 multipurpose Rooms on my base so could do it I may have one room a bit higher then others to be like my main office/research area and wanted to get the ampeel and jelly ray eggs hatched together with crabsnake.

Its surprsing how you spent 5 hours building a base while i only take less than 5 hours to make a good sustainable base by strip mining with my cyclops without going back and forth, Prob bc our playstyles differ.

I killed the ghost leviathan with gasopods and then brought my cyclops and prawn suit there. Gasopods ftw!

Great video. I'm curious about the grappling arm. Is it really necessary if you already have the jet pack? Maybe I'm missing the point of it. But I like to have the drill arm, and the other arm free so you can grab things without having to leave the prawn suit. (I know you say you need it for the lava section... but it still wasn't clear to me why in the video.)

Why don't you temporarily remove one arm-module of your prawn suit in order to take chrystalline sulphur with it? In that way you can easily grab the one standing in the middle of the poisonous mist, otherwise unaccesible

Yeah, that's my preference too....although I don't see the point of the grappling hook once you have the jet pack anyway. But yeah, you can swap out quite easily if you take a coupe seconds to do it before jumping into the poison gas.

Just a question, See, I picked up subnauticaa from the Play at home initiative from PS4, I don't really know how to progress the game, so I go to KZfaq to find the certain materials I need and the places I need to go, I'm scared I'm not getting the full Feeling of subnautica, and kind of cheating by searching up, in a way. It's simply doing research on a topic which is really important most of the time

Not really, the resources are procedurally generated whether they are in outcroppings, containers, or are in wrecks. If you're playing survival, you've gotta worry about replenishing food and water often already, and so you're doing yourself a favor by trying not to waste resources finding resources efficiently. You can even build a scanner room and use those to find wrecks.

Yup I get access to Nicole early in the lost river I just have to stay on the left wall to avoid the ghost leviathan

Does any1 have a guide on how to kill warpers and leviathans?

Stasis rifle and keep knifing with thermo blade till they're dead for leviathans. You can also use prawn suit and grapple onto leviathan and kill them with the drill arm. Tho I'd probably only recommend that method really for Sea Dragon and maybe Ghost leviathan. Warpers you cannot kill. They will teleport away after a few slashes and won't teleport back to that spot for 1 or 2 in game days.

For warpers take a propulsion cannon and throw an acid mushroom at it, it actually works believe it or not.

I have killed two( yes, the rumours are true, it does indeed make you feel like a badass) but I cant find anymore, are there only 2 in the lost river because I could have sworn there were more

So… I can’t get kyanite without depth module on prawn suit, but I can’t get depth module without kyanite…

You need the mk1 to get to 1300m depth to get kyanite. Prawn suit mk1 needs plasteel nickel and ruby. In this video I show how to get kyanite starting around the 8 minute mark.
