This is my favorite statistic to know: In order for great-Grandma to be born, she had 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, 16 great-great-grandparents, etc. The number of people who had to find each other and become parents just so this sweet baby could be born is awesome.

speaking from my own experience, most elders are VERY unapproachable, mean, selfish and always judging your way of living. I am always glad to see kind elders being visited and having great-grandkids, but most of them do not even deserve a phone call. Again, my experience. And then they wonder why nobody visits and I quote ”After I spent so much money and time on raising them”. Great video.

True. I used to visit my grandmother's sister & when my granddaughter was born aI had to bring the young to the old. Nothing can take away the vision of a frail 96 year old trying to hold a three month old. Auntie had lost the gleam in her eyes & six months later was buried with her husband. This video is a blessing to many as they remember 😊❤

For sure! I took my family to Disney World in Florida this past January so that my mom could meet her twin great-grandsons. I got a TON of pictures. I got them printed out and they're going into an album so they'll last forever. Jackson and Jordan may not remember meeting their great grandma, but they'll see the tears and the look on mom's face and know that she loved them with all her heart.

Grannie didn’t know we were coming & she was overcome with joy! We lived in NH after marriage & she lived in Alabama. She came running out of the kitchen into the living room when she heard my voice calling, “Grannie??!” through thé screen door. I immediately heard her say from the kitchen, “That’s my Becky, I KNOW that’s my Becky!!” I knew then how back much she loved me, too. Little did she know I had brought a little “me” to meet her! Such joy to see my daughter in her arms or walking from room to room checking out things as I had so many years before! I know it brought m lot of memories for Grannie, too.❤️🙏😘😇🌹

Joined US Army at 16 during WW2 claiming to be 18. He said he wanted to help atop the Germans. Survived war and became a citizen. He joined the San Antonio Police Dept and served 35 yrs.
